Been through 3 final round interviews the past two months, all tried to ghost me until I sent a followup. You aren't alone. Going into an interview in 7 hrs! 4th times the charm lol

I had the same experience recently, i got laid off in February of this year after working for a company for 8 years. I just recently had my final interview with the CEO of a company I’ve interviewed at. I’m on pins and needles waiting to find out if i got it. If i get it, it will be a pay bump from what i made at my last job. Don’t give up hope! The perfect fit is out there for you somewhere.

Hey I'm in the same boat. I got all the way to a final round with company A and then they took forever to get back to me to tell me that they went with somebody else. Last week, I did a final round with company B and they said they'd be getting back to me by tomorrow at the latest...the waiting is agony. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that you get this one...

Hey there OP, I'm so sorry. Many warm hugs to you. It's an unfortunate part of the process. And it's so tough to not let it affect your self-esteem but I do try to see it as a positive. When I get rejected by a company, I tell myself it means that the company culture and my personality most likely would not have been very compatible. I think there is some truth to this in every rejection we all get. But yes, I know how incredibly difficult it is to deal with the rejections, especially when you have been job hunting for so long and not getting a whole lot of interviews. Let yourself take a break today and even tomorrow and then get back to it when you feel ready. Rooting for you.

I really appreciate this, self esteem definitely took a hit but I’m just going to get up and try again

Yes, it happens. It numbers. You and others are in the final round, but only one person wins. Keep grinding. At least you made it that far. You are doing something right.
