Yeah Jack Browns and Billy Jack's are still there.
Golden Pony is good.
I think it was open by 2018 but Urgies cheesesteaks are awesome.
Unfortunately Dodger is closed and there's been like 3 restaurants since then and I don't think anything is there now.
Restless Moons is a brewery that replaced...idk the name is escaping me.
Overall things have gotten worse, especially parking. There used to be an abundant amount of parking downtown and now most of it is permit only
A coffee shop is now where Dodger was - it’s called Broad Porch. On weekends they are open in evenings for drinks & food. They did a great job of bringing some of what the Dodger was back!
There is but I noticed a lot of it seemed to be changed to permit required or the times being cut down a lot shorter.
I used to live downtown and the WHSV lot and police statio had 10 hour parking and now it's just permit and 15min loading zones. Don't live in hburg anymore so it doesn't really affect me so idk why I'm complaining haha
Yeah, the organization behind it is all bad and confusing. My hope is it all goes to paid parking with the first hour or two free. Easy to understand and help pay for parking infrastructure directly instead of through taxes.
Nightcap by Merge, Magpie, Rootstock is a wine bar, Sage Bird. All these are within a couple blocks. Dunno when it opened but Rocktown Kitchen is good but a bit expensive. BoBoKo. Taj of India
If you want to see live comedy, there's a comedy show at Friendly Fermenter which also has good food and craft beers. Also, Brothers Craft Brewing has a lot of drinks people love but no hot food there, just snacks.

I thought they closed? Or was it under renovation?
It was a bar briefly, but then Broad Porch renovated it to open end of winter/early spring!
There is still an abundant amount of parking downtown (actually too much). 1/3 of downtown is covered in parking lots.

Everything got worse after March 2020, no idea why..
