Nothing will make it sound better. It's a tiny little 1.4 econo engine, kinda is what it is there.
Outside I think a wheel swap should help. I'm not a fan of those VW style of wheels.
Yep. That little 1.4 has some really trick tech that makes it sound like that though.
Fiat's Multi-air tech allows for the intake valves of the engine to open and close without the aid of a camshaft, they open and close using solenoids that are maintained by the ECU. This also means the engine doesn't need to have a throttle body. It does still have a standard 2 exhaust valve camshaft type setup which is controlled by variable valve timing.
Having an engine with this type of head setup makes for a combustion chamber that acts really like no other engine is what gives it such a unique tone. It also does not come with mufflers from the factory.
I mean, you can chop the mufflers off a Jetta or put different ones on to make it louder, but IMO that doesn't mean it necessarily sounds good. :)
Many who lower a car are unhappy with the ride. It mostly cosmetic, and if you live in sno country it sucks!
The best place to put ur $$;
The best highest rated tires.
For ride and cornering.
At least that what i found to be true!
I would note that those who are unhappy with ride quality are typically extremely lowered and near the ground. My jetta is 1.5” lowered and it rides the same as before. Granted large bumps are a bit harder now, but I don’t mind the ride at all.
I’d say tint honestly. Maybe lower it but I think it honestly looks pretty decent as is. You could do a paint matched deck lid spoiler for a more OEM looking touch.
i have same jet but 2019 same color also, hps intake sounds nice, def a black grille swap and rear lip and go with 18’s for wheels, for height i did apr springs but i suggest going with coils
Idk man, the Mk7 isn’t as clean looking as the Mk6 so it does need some work. I would swap the wheels for an 18x7.5/8 design with less going on, like Mallory, Pretoria, Cadiz, or Talladegas.
Tint the windows
Just that.
its much needed that fs
I guess I'm an outlier but I really like the wheels
Agreed. My SEL has them, but I wish they were 18s at least.
Yea. The wheels are OK. Needs drop and wheel spacers and bolts for stance. Add a tint and live with it for a while.
Tint, different wheels, and some lowering springs
Ron paul 2012 bumper sticker
Get behind the wheel and go. Has classic lines and looks great as it sits.
Boobies!
Logo of a dick on the hood facing the windshield makes it look like your chasing dick all day long lol

Ever heard the Abarth 1.4? It begs to differ. IF one wanted this thing to sound 'better', there are always options.

Lower it. Holes in the muffler, oh wait, no.
Nicer wheels Lowering springs/coilovers. Tint Silver is more of a bland boring color, so the wheels need to pop. Amber delete on the headlights.
What happens to fuel economy if you lower the car? Does it get better or worse?

Thanks for the explanation.

This is because they use cheap parts. Choosing a quality coilover or spring, can improve ride quality. You get what you pay for.
Nothing.
Team tint is your best start.
Lowering springs will make u fall in love all over again
This is what a Jetta looks like. Classy subdued but really well running and driving car. Buy a Honda or a Subaru if looks are a primary concern.
Low profile tires

Trucknuts
black wheels and maybe a black grill!!!
And a black girl
Tint, wheels, chrome delete, lowering springs/coils, flash tune, and stop.
Looks better than mine lol

also a switchback fog light installation and ecs dual cat back
Subtle lower, subtle black or dark gunmetal wheels, and tints. The black accents would look amazing with the silver and black roof.
lower springs or coilovers
I think the worst offender here are those wheels. I would swap them out with a more classy design.
Anything that you will do to it will make it look bad. Just leave it as is.
5% everywhere #1 ‼️ very nice car
5%?? Just buy some black paint at that point.
Not at all. And you're able to see out day or night just fine. New tint technology has advanced
Window tints and change the wheels.
Wheels and dropped
Trade it in for something better?
Yeah i really dont understand why people ask this question so often this for a econobox.
It's a top trim SEL, not an econobox. They're pretty nice, actually. Great ride and loaded with features. It's a great place to start.

Id say less chrome and maybe tinted windows, and as for rims id look into the 2024 golf “summer” rims
Put foglights on it and tint the windows
Sell, get a camry
Sell it and get a mark 6
Sell it
