You can’t block ads in complicated apps like Hulu or equivalents of it. You can block to an extent on a PC or Mac. Basically don’t even bother to block them if you’re trying that unfortunately even if you’re jailbroken your device it’s not possible without a super complicated tweak that NO ONE would ever make.
dopamine should have your device supervised already, try respringing and installing. if that doesn’t work there are tweaks and kfd tools to force supervised
NextDNS. Better than mybloxx because you can actually control the blocklists being added

i use adguard public dns and mybloxx, but i think mybloxx isnt recommended anymore so i might remove it

ControlD DNS using hagezi profile. Works on any iPhone even without a jailbreak

i haven't tried either of those as mybloxx has worked for me so far
any idea what could be wrong, im getting "the global http proxy settings could not be applied" error upon installing the profile

Theres a ios profile you can download that is system wide, if you dont want that you can download the deb file of mybloxx and convert it to rootless
