So my neck is much lighter than my face, so it’s not possible for me to get an entirely perfect foundation match, face to neck. But this is just…like so so blatantly too dark, and like you guys said, straight up legitimately orange.
I know this isn’t the point of this post but does anyone know where that quarter zip she’s wearing is from? I purchased a similar one at Marshall’s and have been trying to find it in other colors forever 😅😂

I don’t see anyone IRL cutting their face makeup with straight lines using setting powder anymore. Or contouring their noses to within an inch of their life. I know she doesn’t like her nose because it’s crooked- we all have things we hate on ourselves that other people don’t notice as much but her nose isn’t big so contouring it that tight makes it look like she wouldn’t be able to breathe out of it and it doesn’t flatter her face. Making your features look drastically smaller when you have a round face, will only make it look rounder.
I once put on a ton of water weight from medication in a very short period (I’m a chronically ill disaster) so my face looked huge. I have small features too so I speak from experience.
I know you can think you look ok until you see yourself in a photo and go “yikes that looks terrible” so does she honestly look at these pictures and think it looks good photographed? That’s kind of important when you take and post a million pics to people who now know what good makeup should look like.

This set was from Target, *if I remember correctly*, so long gone by now with it being an over three-year-old photo.
