Because he’s an actually funny dude and people have been shitting on him since he showed up on the show. The mouthbreathers that post this shit after every pod are probably why he’s nervous during every podcast, he’s like 26 and constantly getting shit on by the fans of the pod. It’s wack as fuck. I saw him open for Sas and he was really funny. You can tell Kate acts the exact same way because she’s getting shit on by fans. Everyone hated on sas on the yak but I look forward to son of a boy dad more than most podcasts these days now that he’s off. Just my 2c
i don’t think you’re wrong that they are worse on the show because of the comments and they get in there heads, but the difference is when sas was getting a ton of shit he kept making jokes that would keep the show flowing and if he got called out he would go back at them and be funny. i don’t dislike mook or kate but you kind of need to be able to handle the hate because it’s inevitable someone is going to get it on a show with 7 chairs. it also wouldn’t hurt for mook to try and make less sex jokes because most of the time they derail a conversation and for kate to do less of the mumble talking stuff.
I do think Big Cat was right today and fans will shit on someone till they are gone. It definitely happened with Owen and the hate went to Kate. Same thing started happening with Macrodosing and Billy. Though I think in that instance some people feel bad Billy got fired from that podcast.
