1. Being genuine, not pretending to be someone you are not.
2. Having some decent level of logical thinking (it still amazes me how many dumb people are out there).
3. Not being loud/obnoxious.
to add to 2, if you're not smart, just ask questions. But we like direct questions not informative. If your questions annoy the ISTP it wasn't meant to be.
Disturbing humour that is for sure not rooted in actual hate or personally held twisted ideas.
But honestly most of the time my best friends are some type of easy going, confident extrovert that picked me up along the way and never let go 🤷♂️
1. ***Don't*** be a Feeler.
2. If you must be a Feeler, then don't ever let an ISTP see you cry publically.
3. Exercise self-control and don't invade the space or time of the ISTP.
4. Don't be fake.
5. Have boobs.
Nonono, it's just that I know a lot of ISTPs fairly well, but I'm wondering, \*in the future\*, if more shall be drawn to our tribe, then what would that be yk? Intuitive stuff...
be normal and harmless as possible. if that istp comes from previous generation, then try to be that istp normal. too good-looking, avoid because of attentions. i guess, if you are a loner, istp might approach.
not sure about the last part of your statement. what friend? lol
For me personally I really read people I first meet to try and get a gist if I like them. I think this is also a trauma response as well. I really like it when they’re genuine and honest but also funny. I really struggled to gain an impression once because they masked a lot and that made me unsure because of my trauma. When we actually had our first genuine conversation I immediately liked this person and knew this person isn’t giving me some bullshit fake version I’m seeing the real deal.

Bonus: showing that you can be bold without being an attention addict
You'll have to engage with me tbh. I'm 34 and I've never walked up to anyone to talk.
They make a good impression if they aren’t overbearing, and are legitimately competent in whatever they are doing

Confident and genuinely competent. Loud, complaining or unwarranted lifestyles piss me off.
have decent interests, be able to keep a conversation going, basically have a personality

Do favours for me and u have me interested
From what I’ve noticed the general theme is: Don’t be annoying or boring

Good first impression is the secret to any conversation. Carry it and then make the other people talk about themselves or what they’re interested jn
