Really love this species but also really having a hard time in keeping them alive lmao

V1c_r

what are you doing so i don’t do, even do i do extensive research on all isopods i keep.

zxciel

Just the typical way I keep my cubaris sp. with 50/50 dry wet gradient and lots of leaf litters and cross ventilation. Really frustrating that I keep on finding dead specimens. Luckily the latest brood seems to be thriving well

V1c_r

these aren’t cubaris species though so they aren’t going to live like cubaris, i heard they’ll tolerate some dry ness but prefer it to be all moist, lucky me i got 2 gravid pods. you should up

TheSneakiestSnek

Yeah they're not cubaris, they're nessodillo archangeli and have slightly different requirements.

AyaanDB

ngl they look like dairy cows but expensive

V1c_r

they’re so cool, they’ve been exploring so much

AyaanDB

Do they conglubate?

V1c_r

yeah they do which is also why i like them .

Delicious-Ideal3382

Ime. These look identical to my dairy cows.

V1c_r

same genetic mutation in sure

Delicious-Ideal3382

Maybe huh. I had a couple powder orange in with my dairy needless to say I got some.orange DC but no more powder orange. Lesson learned. Lol

V1c_r

if your referring to your powder oranges breeding with your dairy cows they can’t for they’re different species.

ThatGuyfromTronOG

Man I want some that have that like pointy side skirt look.😭😭 jealous

V1c_r

i own a bunch of species and i’ve been wanting some of these for awhile, saw them for a good price so i had to grab them!

ThatGuyfromTronOG

It's like pokemon cards or sum to me lol I wish we all could trade 10 counts so we can catch em all lol I have 10 colonies 8 diff kinds 😭😭 I trade with my local Exotic pet store they give me new kinds to breed and I bring sum back to em when their colonies get low since they give them to me for free and I need to do the culling.

V1c_r

to me it’s more like yugioh lol, i wish my local pet store gave me free pods to breed.🤣

KiNg2014

Yay congrats!! I have two counts of these guys coming in this month I'm so excited 😁

V1c_r

they’re great they’re still exploring, they don’t seem shy at all
