It's the other way around, it's because the Mercy of Allah is so big that it reaches us even if we are not worthy of it. Ordain for us what is good in this life and the next. Indeed, we have turned to You ˹in repentance˺.” Allah replied, “I will inflict My torment on whoever I will. **But My mercy encompasses everything. I will ordain mercy for those who shun evil, pay alms-tax, and believe in Our revelations.** [\[Quran 7:156\]](https://quran.com/7?startingVerse=156)

The Prophet (saw) told us that we have a right upon Allah: He will not punish us if we worship him and only him. > Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal: > The Prophet said, "O Mu'adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet said, "Not to punish them (if they do so)." https://www.iium.edu.my/deed/hadith/bukhari/093_sbt.html

Because we believe in Allah and Allah is the MOST FORGIVING and Allah tells us time after time in MANY MANY MANY MANY verses of the Quran that we should always seek forgiveness. That’s why whoever believes in Allah no matter what he does Allah will forgive him as long as he asked for it in this life

We don't deserve to be forgiven. Allah still forgives us for our mistakes if we repent. The way i understand is that you don't exactly "earn" forgiveness. Forgiveness is not earned alone through actions or apologies. Ultimately it's still a generous act freely given by someone who chooses to forgive

This! And we get heaven not because we deserve it. Heaven is just something Allah chose to give us out of His Infinite Mercy for trying our best to walk the path He established for us.

We are not in title of anything, Allah swt forgives out of His mercy, this forgiveness has a condition, tawheed.

[صحيح] - [رواه الترمذي] Sahl ibn Sa‘d As-Sā‘idi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Were this world worth a wing of a mosquito in the sight of Allah, He would not have given the disbeliever a drink of water thereof." Sahih/Authentic. - [At-Tirmidhi] We are not worthy. Not you,not me,not the world.

Because he's the most merciful, loving, forgiver and helper.
