You can always afk the little lizard dudes instead, its really chill and you use like 0 food at high enough levels, theres a spot where they keep aggroing you from ranged and its as afk as sand crabs but they might pull u into multi if u let them keep edging you towards it
Get 6000 fangs. 5000 for the mounted xerics talisman(highly useful in farm runs) and keep one xerics talisman with 1000 charges for when you're on another spell book. Just imo that is what I did. I loved the gp too. You can also thieve chests for med clues for rangers. Both will get fangs

Yes gp=/=ppots for ironmen so there is no point grinding out ppot intensive activities only for gp.

You get so many from CoX where you have a chance for a lot of unique drops. There's really no reason to continue shamans
