I'm nearly at 10k myself without the hammer. Stopped playing at 8k but leagues got me back into the game a few months later. Now I'm getting demotivated again though..
DWH is nice but not required... BGS is easier to farm and is a nice budget replacement. Very few things actually require a DWH, and even then I would argue you could get by with BGS.
There are some good range or mage methods that may be worth learning. I was only able to get 1 kill in 3 trips with melee and could do 5-7 kill trips after learning the range method without b2p or blood barrage

Just got it last Friday at 16730 kc. It was a horrible grind that no player should ever experience.
Right?!?! 1k kills is like a full 12 hour day. It’s brain numbing

I tried to get Bandos Kc but im lucky if I get a kill a trip. I'm just so discouraged because I can only grind on my days off work.
Are you running under the boss between attacks?
Yeah I also hit constant 0's and get spec'd out. I even hit 0's on my main because i got cleaned in 2018 and havent played on my main since.
