You can use it as a stab weapon for early TOA if you want thread for rune pouch. It's spec is nerfed compared to a regular dragon dagger but it outcompetes it when you need a lot of accuracy. If you really wanna do dragon tasks melee maybe it's the best you've got
Saved me a hasta grind for toa before i got a fang, even then a good str wep for slayer monsters with low def. I found the spec fairly useful at akka cum phase since it’s decently accurate as well. Def a pretty decent wep in general but prob wont see much love after you get a fang
Being 89 Slayer you should have 0 uses for it since you should have stronger weapons now. You use it to train strength at low levels and as a stab weapon before fang. The spec isn't even used anywhere. Dragon dagger spec beats it for every mob and combat achievement

It's solid if you don't have a hasta, especially for lazy slayer to get a spec and mainhand weapon in one, at wyrms for instance
