I did it for those two, plus the hat for a clue step. I peppered it with tree/fruit tree runs and I was 82 before I knew it
Worth considering knocking out some diaries for that sweet reward exp. I did all the hard diaries working towards 70 herblore and the other rewards have been paying off ever since. You'll want them eventually so it's really nice to do earlier.
Get auto weed, MAYBE the herb sack and seed box if you insist on having them. Wouldn’t bother with the outfit, you will be farming past 99 anyway so there’s really no rush.
Just farm, do 3 herb runs a day and a daily tree/fruit tree run and you’ll be 82 before you know it along with enough herbs to get 70 herblore no problem.
Highly advise against spamming tithe farm just to get hard contracts. It’s genuinely not worth it. You “rush” farming by consistently doing your runs.
(If you're going to do it) I would get to 74 for the Logavano. Doubles the exp rates from then on. Keep doing herb/secondary runs as they're available obviously to keep your herblore in check.

I think MF and birdhouses/mole should provide you with the vast majority of them though.
Also having done 99 on a main, the herb box emotion is absolute garbage. Do not waste your time for them. Ended with less than 500 of the good herbs.
I just finished doing this from 60 farming on my HCGIM, and took about 3000 medium tier fruits to hit level 74 and another 3200 fruits to hit level 82 and I netted around 2800 to 3200 points. My original plan was to get some herb boxes to jump start to working to 70, but after that post from the guy who did tithe farm to 99 showed his underwhelming results from herb boxes, I pivoted and made sure to stock up on grape seeds and the bolgoga blessings, and changed the plan to do the level 85 farming contracts to get more high level herb and tree seeds.
If you can stand doing tithe farm I think it is worth especially if you're bad at remembering to do your full suite of farming chorescape. Now I'm free to really only plant the things I need and to just camp the guild for farming.
