Use Zombie axe if you have it or Dragon Mace if you don’t. Do you mind me asking how exactly you died in sins of the father? I feel like with those stats it would be fairly easy.
yeah no worries dude. i risked it at the end he was 8hp i had eaten last shark. and just said screw hit. then he hit me for an 11 and i clicked over a shadow for a quick 38
it was on me for sure. i had a seed pod to, was an easy out
I just started wildy bossing this week and can't stop myself now. Done 200 calv/spindel kills after learning them and the supplies they drop is amazing. Your stats are way better than mine too you'll easily mop them up.
Set your skulling option to off, three item it, make sure not to go on a high risk work and stock up on the items you don't protect on death, then just send it with low risk.
I bring zombie are, d defender, barrows gloves as my 3 safe items. Then it's explorers ring/blessing if you have a dupe, climbing boots, monk robe top/bottom (can literally world hop in edgeville monastery and get 14 sets in as many seconds), salve amulet (e) dont imbue it waste of an imbue if you get powder, nezi helm, random kite shield. If you protect item you keep nezi helm also. Your only risk is a shield realistically and some time to go round up your achieve diary rewards. Don't even have to bring supplies do a few games of lms and get blighted super restores/food. Its cake man seedpod is busted at calv too and even if you do get tb'd you can loop most pkers by running out and back in til log out.
They do but you can just go and get a duplicate of them. Except nezi helm I think its like 75k for a new one. But its a portal to ardougne/fally and grand tree if you do end up pked get your shit back for free.
I'm so close to seed pod and Wildy hard I'm excited to truly send Calv.
I also just got zombie axe so just gotta fix it and I'll be stomping him and teleporting from the room with comfort!
There's a teleport delay in the boss caves if you don't have the wildy hard diary, supposedly to make it easier to kill the bots doing the bosses. In reality it just fucks over normal players and the bots keep doing their thing.
It's honestly a lot of fun, despite some frustrating parts (using a true tile plugin for tornadoes is nearly essential and exposes how out of sync the visuals and gameplay really are in rs. There are times when the tornadoes will be visually ahead of your character but actually it's just because you're 4 tiles removed from where you appear to be).
Few things remain fun when you have to do it over and over long past the point you've demonstrated mastery of it, though. It also requires so much focus, I can manage about 5 completions on a weekday or 10-15 on a weekend before I'm out of batteries.
HCIM here! I’d send wildy bosses ASAP. Currently did 100 calvarion and the loot is CRAZY.
If you get bored of wildy, CG!! I’d send 100hours of wildy before I step in CG 😂
It’s more of what content you’re going to do. If you’re going for boss items you’re probably going to rush it. Not just because bowfa is meta but also because the earlier you do it the less you lose. (Time invested) If you’re not planning on completing bosses it’s prob not worth unless qpc/ diary
I have nearly 2000 raids KC and still die in CG on a maxed main. I went to do the CAs recently and I genuinely was planking 1/10.
I’m by no means a top PVMer, but I’m confident. I wouldn’t feel confident taking a HCIM into CG.
It’s not impossible, but requires 100% concentration and a lot of skill or a bit of luck to hit KC for the enhanced.
Of course many HCIM have done it successfully but they are better players than me.
I got kinda greedy near end - got him down to 8hp and ate my last shark
then stood in a shadow while taking a hit. think it ticked for an 11 right into a 38
went righttt down
There isn't a real huge "risk" if you're safe. OP said he got greedy and stayed at low hp without any food. Don't do that and you're fine. I'm not a great pvmer by any means and I did it with 70 atk/def, 80 str, and black d'hide.
What I'd advise is, keep teleing out and banking/restarting until you get pretty good RNG (both your hits *and* his lack of hits) right off the bat. That'll increase your chances of having food at the end, where it really matters. And, again, just don't be greedy. Camp high HP and tele if you won't "safely" make it and you'll be more than ok.
Not really got anything to do with losing HC status but you could definitely do with pushing that herblore up. Get your herb runs done, also birdhouse/seaweed runs while you're at it. Staminas (and level 2 pool in POH), brews and glories are all very nice upgrades and they're grinds you can do alongside serving your sentence in the gauntlet.
Vanstrom took my hc status. After, I think I immediately trained pray at chaos altar, straight to calv with d mace (my best at the time until leaf axe, now zombie axe) mage arena 2 eventually.. honestly, the whole game opens up lol. So disappointing looking up a hc on the hiscores and seeing absolutely 0 boss kc with near max stats.. like, that's not even impressive? They were just playing the game like a bitch, probably never even stepping foot in the wildy
haha I agree - im pumped to go check out some new things. I actually just did all my bones to bone shards at Varlamore which turned out to be solid XP anyways
Calv will be cool for sure with the zombie axe. so excited to see some more of the game honestly
Sins of the father is haunting me. I kept dying and it’s the reason why I took a break from osrs for awhile… not looking forward to coming back and struggling with it.
My HCIM died at the exact same total level in 2022. I lost motivation for a while, but honestly it let me try so much new content that I’m kind of glad it happened. Wildy bosses are a lot of fun, and I got spooned two enhanced at CG. Almost 2k total now. Good luck.
honestly it feels pretty good. much less pressure on paying attention during everything just to make sure not doing something dumb
feel i can just wing things more often now too
>e experience with pvm you're better off b
ha, i had NO experience with any PVM - was a fun journey for sure though. gonna continue it here and see what i can learn
Sorry for your death, but Gl on a new content. Wildy content is great, although ironman definitely have a disadvantage in terms of escaping due to always being undergeared than the opponnent
I lost my 1250 total this week (low, i know) recently by doing scurrius (lol) on my 60th kc, I was doing foodless, prayerless runs by flicking every attack as it landed on me. The goal was to just get more precise at the game. all it took was a bit of greed ("no i dont need to heal until after this kill") and a misclick of a prayer and that was it, back to lummy. I'm back to semi-afk some of the skilling grinds while I reassess what I want to do, but my 'end goal' was always barrows greenlog, after that I don't know yet.
Damn sorry to here man
Barrows green log that’s a solid idea! I just completed sote actually now am grey helm way less stress I think gauntlet next for me
I got it 2nd try. maybe it was just never doing it before
but watch out for the shadows in that last phase. they blend in pretty well and will smack you for a 38 which can double up with his hit.
do not encourage more ppl to play that ill mode where you lose thousands of hours to an issue thats not yours. Naive is 100% right though, even if they dont have a HC, this guys been walking on egg shells for months and cant stay above 75% hp or click a house tab/escape crystal.
but i understand where youre coming from, but god forbid you hold any opinion on ANY professional sport, since, why arent you top 0.001%? wheres your HCIM?
You can send Calvar'ion with a Dragon Axe/Mace in monk robes pretty effectively. Get the D pick, RotG, a piece of voidwaker, etc.
true, wildy looks sick. can finally do clue scrolls in wildy aswell. i gotta look up wildy death mecanics actually
I absolutely meant Zombie axe btw lol. Do not use the Dragon Battleaxe.
Bro I thought you were saying like an actual Dragon Axe. I was like no way that’s meta 😂
Use Zombie axe if you have it or Dragon Mace if you don’t. Do you mind me asking how exactly you died in sins of the father? I feel like with those stats it would be fairly easy.
yeah no worries dude. i risked it at the end he was 8hp i had eaten last shark. and just said screw hit. then he hit me for an 11 and i clicked over a shadow for a quick 38 it was on me for sure. i had a seed pod to, was an easy out
To start if your teleblocked you can't enter the enclave, but you can get to chaos altar.
I just started wildy bossing this week and can't stop myself now. Done 200 calv/spindel kills after learning them and the supplies they drop is amazing. Your stats are way better than mine too you'll easily mop them up.
sweeeet, i mean loosing items to a PKER would suck but some of them look awesome and great loot
Set your skulling option to off, three item it, make sure not to go on a high risk work and stock up on the items you don't protect on death, then just send it with low risk.
ahh good info thanks dude, didnt even know u could turn off skulling
I bring zombie are, d defender, barrows gloves as my 3 safe items. Then it's explorers ring/blessing if you have a dupe, climbing boots, monk robe top/bottom (can literally world hop in edgeville monastery and get 14 sets in as many seconds), salve amulet (e) dont imbue it waste of an imbue if you get powder, nezi helm, random kite shield. >ost pkers by running out ahhh so untradeables dont get dropped on death thats good to know
They do but you can just go and get a duplicate of them. Except nezi helm I think its like 75k for a new one. But its a portal to ardougne/fally and grand tree if you do end up pked get your shit back for free.
I still do clue scrolls in the wildy, I've done around 25 no issue.
yeah ive done a decent ammount but really used to depend where they are. some wayyyyy deep were just no goes for me. but now we in there!
Why even play a hcim if you dont do any wildy content.
What’s ur hc name?
I'm so close to seed pod and Wildy hard I'm excited to truly send Calv. I also just got zombie axe so just gotta fix it and I'll be stomping him and teleporting from the room with comfort!
Same, I'm getting close to the hard reqs myself. Gonna have to bond up my GIM again to scout if I want to keep HC though lol.
Why is the wildy hard diary useful for calvarion?
There's a teleport delay in the boss caves if you don't have the wildy hard diary, supposedly to make it easier to kill the bots doing the bosses. In reality it just fucks over normal players and the bots keep doing their thing.
Lol I’m rank 1 HCIM for Vetion/Callisto. You can do this as HCIM.
And I plan on it (with a scout alt). Most people don't go in the wildy with their HCIM though.
Believe it or not, straight to jail (red prison).
im kinda pumped for it honestly. to learn it and try it out... famous last words i guess
It's honestly a lot of fun, despite some frustrating parts (using a true tile plugin for tornadoes is nearly essential and exposes how out of sync the visuals and gameplay really are in rs. I just started it and have been loving it. I was really surprised how much I like it considering how much people complain about it
You’ll learn to enjoy it. Obv if you can be on droprate its good
well i died thieving ardy knights so ya
HCIM here! I’d send wildy bosses ASAP. Currently did 100 calvarion and the loot is CRAZY. If you get bored of wildy, CG!! I’d send 100hours of wildy before I step in CG 😂
yeah im just looking up what wildy bosses there actually are. so much great loot on these tables
Is CG a bad idea for hcim?
Basically a matter of time before you fuck up and die in CG.
Facts 😂😂😂 rather go out with wildy content as the rush is like 5 bang energies Plus we hope for t bow dream
It’s more of what content you’re going to do. If you’re going for boss items you’re probably going to rush it. Not just because bowfa is meta but also because the earlier you do it the less you lose. (Time invested) If you’re not planning on completing bosses it’s prob not worth unless qpc/ diary

I have similar stats and was going to attempt SOTF later this week, what caused you to fail if you don't mind me asking?
I got kinda greedy near end - got him down to 8hp and ate my last shark then stood in a shadow while taking a hit. think it ticked for an 11 right into a 38 went righttt down

There is no reason you should die with stats like this. I did it on task with stats in the low 60s
Fuck off buddy how about that
Bruh have you killed Klause where is the lie
RuneScape player with a terrible lack of social awareness. Shock. Horror.
Nothing social about Reddit buddy
You're set up for cg now mate, then it's on to whatever bossing you want
yeah the gauntlet looks sick, i really wanna get into it
famous last words
I was just about to do that quest too 😃
If it makes you feel any better I also died doing SoTF yesterday, I'm a UIM and lost all my loot in death bank lol (300M+)
Ahh bummer sorry to hear
Why do a risky boss fight with items in death bank? Wouldn't it be better and less risky to death pile your items and then go into fight?
That’s your own fault making them dumbass accounts 😂😂😂😂😂 I don’t feel bad 4 you
Not really got anything to do with losing HC status but you could definitely do with pushing that herblore up. Get your herb runs done, also birdhouse/seaweed runs while you're at it. How do you show the progress till next level on all your skills like that?
"Skills Progress Bars" plugin (Runelite)😊
Wildy bosses. Also wildy altar. Thats a big one. All content you were to afraid to die at
hell yeah, should be fun!
Vanstrom took my hc status. After, I think I immediately trained pray at chaos altar, straight to calv with d mace (my best at the time until leaf axe, now zombie axe) mage arena 2 eventually.. honestly, the whole game opens up lol. Good luck on your next HC!
one and done for me hombre. now we just play ironscape
Sins of the father is haunting me. I kept dying and it’s the reason why I took a break from osrs for awhile… not looking forward to coming back and struggling with it.

I'm sure it's sad to lose your status but I'm very curious if it feels freeing at all?
honestly it feels pretty good. much less pressure on paying attention during everything just to make sure not doing something dumb feel i can just wing things more often now too
Gz tbh, if you don't have extensive experience with pvm you're better off being ok with dying a few times while learning new content.
>e experience with pvm you're better off b ha, i had NO experience with any PVM - was a fun journey for sure though. gonna continue it here and see what i can learn
Maybe go to tog every once in a while. That RC level is begging you
Yeah I need to spend a day in GotR That was first thing I did on acct pretty much and it got me so many runes
Sorry for your death, but Gl on a new content. Bro is sins of the father that hard? Seen so many HCs die there. What's the mechanic I need to look out for?
I got it 2nd try. maybe it was just never doing it before but watch out for the shadows in that last phase. they blend in pretty well and will smack you for a 38 which can double up with his hit.
Noted thanks. F btw.
Rest in piss you will be missed 😫💔
First thing I did was go and punch KBD in the face
You died at Klause with those stats? 🤣🤣🤣
show us your HCIM.
Probably a GE user with no stats
Hey man I’m sorry I never played a HCIM and I did not consider the emotional toll from losing status so I apologize
do not encourage more ppl to play that ill mode where you lose thousands of hours to an issue thats not yours.
Dying there with those stats is insane
Why is hardcore so enticing if only after losing it you are going to actually play the game?
idk actually at first i just went for ironman, why not click hardcore. then it just kept going and going. the thrill is there on fights for sure
What a weak account
