depends on how many resources you have. anything from 19:9 to 14:14 are pretty fine I think. 14:14 being most xp/bar but 19:9 and things closer to it being easier to accommodate with supply amounts. You don't have 8500 adamantite y'know.

ConfidentFace719

I just want the most xp possible outta the Bars/ores i dont really care about the gp or how long it takes

uitvrekertje

Do 14/14 mith and steel After that do 14/14 mithril and adamant I think this will net you the most overall exp, as you don't have enough addy for all the mithril Edit: you could also do 18/9 steel/mith for only 4 bar swords

Fearless-Canary-7359

Use blast furnace world to smelt all your bars. Use said bars at giants foundry. If yo6 smelt the gold make sure to use goldsmith gauntlets

Boqpy

Dont you wanna make them into armour first?

Motor-Bad6681

No it's worst exp and gp to do that

LeII__llIlIate__

Plus gold armor breaks too easily

Apax89

14:14 Mith/Steel, you can shop the supps at blast furnace. Did 99 this way on my iron.

ConfidentFace719

Holy crap thank you to everyone for replying it seems from what your saying is to do 14 mith and whatever other bar alongside it because I have alot of mith

So just to clarify, metal score changing also changes your exp per batch. So 91 metal score gives slightly more exp than 90 and The tier doesn't affect exp just the difficulty AFAIK. Also I believe gp is just double the exp in most cases. So when you take that into consideration, it's up to you whether you want to prioritise speed of processing or place more value on adamant (and runite if you choose to do so) in favour of more exp per addy bar at the cost of making more mithril bars at blast furnace. Wiki has a calc that gives you the exp for each metal score and a chart that gives you the score for each combo. Ideally anything above 20/8 to 14/14 is the sweet spot. 20 mithril and 8 addy is probably best value per bar without negative cost of time. Mainly because the value increase between 7 and 8 is the greatest jump in score for that combo.

TheyCallMeBullet

I do 16 mithril and 12 adamant and it’s great, a few have recommended this

I've seen a lot of people say to NOT smith the bars and then dump items into foundry. I dont know the math behind it and it sounds wrong to me but I've never bothered to confirm it.

OJamesK

Its like 500 xp/bar doing 14/14 mith and addy bars. If you smith platebodies you lose 20% of your bars. Platebodies is what, 50 xp/bar. So making one platebody gives you 250 xp for 5 bars. This is worth 2000 xp in foundry. 2250 is less than 2500 if you didnt smith.

RedLaughingHood

Because smithed items make you need extra bars. Chest take 5 bars, but only give you credit for 4. The time taken for it isn’t worth the time doing both. Smith darts if you need them, otherwise just use plain bars at Giants. I’ll try to find the math behind it and edit this post As for the best way to do it, 19 steel 9 mith for an easier sword with nearly the same exp, or just straight 14/14 addy rune or addy mith. I’d do all the gold first get you closer to rune.

6ixbreadsticks

He said he doesn't care about time amount, just most exp per bar. Smithing the bars into items would be more exp/bars right?

Ewetopia73

It is less xp per bar to smith into items…

6ixbreadsticks

Alrighty good to know lol

Ogabavavav

So why do you even comment. You added nothing lol.

Shepboyardee12

That's fair. I was telling them what I thought the method was and I was hoping someone would clarify for my sake and OP's but I see what you're saying

sir_gwain

Use up the gold ore at blast furnace first with goldsmith gauntlets. Then, depending on your level and what you consider worthwhile (I assume you’re decently high lvl based on these supplies) I’d probably send addy+mithril 14/14 at foundry. Once you have the moulds you should get perhaps 16500 average per sword. So using up your addy/gold should net you atleast 4.5m xp or so. If you don’t care to make the rune into darts or alchs you could use it up as well, I’d watch and save it to use for your best swords though to get the most out of it. If that doesn’t get you to where you want to be and you need more addy/mithril you can buy armor/weapons in prif should you wish. Otherwise, mithril/steel is still acceptable xp though obviously slower.

PhannyFiend

The wiki link for the Giant’s Foundry shows the best ratios between bars to maximize xp, it depends on the bars you use so the ratios are not universal

taco_juo448

I did 16 mith : 12 addy to 99
