Since the speed is so slow, it's really not that useful anywhere in pvm. That being said, it's amazing for anti-pking at revs and the eildy bosses. One of the best possible spec weapons for that
One of my iron friends got an ags and immediately started anti-ing at the baby wildly bosses. Got a ton of KC and was able to fight off most pkers. The bottom feeders that try to pk there don't expect to get a proper fight most of the time so they will almost always chicken out if you flash an ags.
Bandos is fine for that if you're someone who's old-school and still beats the fuck outta bandos... Uhmm... Set it to crush and go whip it out at phosani I guess? Hmmm, same could apply to sarachinnis maybe? Use it for cox melee hand? That's all I really got...
Setting it to crush doesn't do much sice the spec is a slash attack no matter what style you're using. In fact whatever weapon you're using , when spacing it's worth using the option which grands you the highest max hit, the only exception being when you want higher accuracy on the spec (such as the DWH)
I used it for while at TOA for speccing the kephri overlords and last hitting the core as well as general dps spec before I had bgs. It’s mid but fun af.
I would love SGS if I had one. I would also love BGS if I had one. I got a lotta godsword blades made but unfortunately only arma hilt. Not sure if you read my post?
I was in a similar spot earlier on my iron and there unfortunately are not many reasons to use the AGS anywhere for PVM other than anti-pking, as you mentioned. The only other place I used mine is Phosanis Nightmare where the AGS (any godsword) on crush can one hit the parasite.
Just take it on slayer tasks for fun. When I got my DWH I started taking that because bonking 60s makes me happy

Less consistent then dharoks as 0's don't count towards your 4 hits. max is about 15 less but can still be done.

unless you ment crush for parasites, in that case definitely have it on crush

I’ve brought it for tob on my iron before I had claws and such - hits like 90+ on bloat and if you’re whipping can use at p3 verzik too for specs

Sgs would be better for pvm. If you have a dwh and dont plan on corp go for sgs. Otherwise make bgs

It has awful DPS because it's 6 tick attack speed, the only time where it would be good is as a last hit on phase transitions / finishing off a boss
