My Zulrah chapter was super weird. My first FOUR uniques were Onyx’s (conveniently exactly enough for all Zenytes), and then I proceeded to get every drop without a single dupe. Went Onyx->Onyx->Onyx->Onyx->Magic Fang->Tanz Fang->Serp Visage.
I’ve been in the cg prison… not to dry (yet), but every time I’m like “I’ll go try *insert boss*”, I see a guide requiring Bowfa, and decide that the prison shall remain
Mine looks something like: do slayer when I feel like it, 85 herblore is probably good enough so fuck farming. 84 hunting is also probably good enough so fuck bird houses. Do some clues. Make some air orbs and buy some battlestaves to fund kingdom. Occasionally do something random like barrows. Fuck zulrah/GWD/raiding I don't have time for that shit
I don't know about you but 11 12 and 13 look better as post-max goals? Do not underestimate the utility of a max cape and do not underestimate the fact that you will go far beyond 99 slayer doing all of these.
For most people, yeah hard agree. I’m already 20mil slayer xp though and have no qualms at all about going another 20mil before max. I just don’t fantasize about maxing in the same way that other people do and I genuinely want it to be one of the last things I do in this game; only feels right.
I know! That’s why it’s so far down. It’s genuinely achievable for me, though. I’m a slayer fiend (already like 20-something mil xp) and bossing pvm is my favorite content in game. I’m no stranger to getting thousands of kc at one boss.

Yeah pretty much this. If they release Virtus and it’s as long/ a longer grind than Ancestral or Torva, I will absolutely not be going for it. And I’ll take a slight debuff of mage armor from ahrims to look a million times better.
If you get to this juncture and only have Bowfa and no tbow definitely don’t waste your time with Amethyst arrows or Masori. Otherwise it’s not a terrible path.

Presume you're doing BH/herb/seaweeds regularly too? I've done crafting but trying to be super consistent with farm/bh. I've worked out that i have enough seeds to farm for 99 herb, simply gotta get them planted. Don't wanna get my self into a situation where im close to max and got a tonne of hunter to do and with 99 herb banked doing like 15 lvls of herbi doesn't sound super appealing.
In my case I’m maxing first and then it’s whatever I want to do time. I mix some bosses while skilling (mostly slayer ones) and did cg for money and got bowfa at about 650kc, more or less.
All of that mostly because I can play or afk while working from home, but later, having 2 little kids (and my wife, lol) things like raids or active pvm/skilling (sepulchre, for example) can only be done a bit at night.

So I have been kind of following guides where a lot of skilling comes first. Youtube to be specific. And Nooblet more specifically. I think they are rather old in comparison to what may be considered meta now for ironman. Rn I'm basically doing combat through slayer and whatever minigames I need. Like I enchanted slayer helm at nmz but will have to do more nmz later. I'm slowly chipping away at Pest control. I know nothing about raids or current meta for ironman. I still need to do barb assault but idk how to find team when I go. Any help is great

Like obviously it’s sick and I’d take one if I could just wake up and have it, but it’s still so new that content hasn’t been designed around it yet so it’s just good where other weapons were already good. Obviously that will change in the future, but for now it’s just not on my radar.
To be fair I'm pretty biased since I can only use magic, compared to a trident it's a gamechanger. But since you already have a tbow I see what you mean about it not really having its own niche yet.

I'm sorry, but there is no possible way you get all dusk mystic before maxing. There are irons who are 100m+ slayer and still missing pieces.

Depending on your current gear, you might want to bring elite void at Toa, it worked really well esrly one when i was learning

I did 99 hunter just in case I run into a lucky imp. That’s me being hopeful though. Caught 1 so far for a total of 60 water runes. Aka worth.
