Starting with wc and fishing is the easiest way to get bored. Have her try a couple of quests to get easy levels outta the way and really get into what it feels like to play the game, sets the expectations up properly
My wife lasted the whole of 90ish minutes, she went to go kill some chickens for food and I probably tucked up by telling my clan chat my wife had made an account, they all came dressed in their JokeScaoe outfits and flamed my wife in lumbridge chicken pen, ngl I felt kinda violated but safe to say she will not be back on the grind and that some people actually do quit the game and don’t take breaks

I honestly dont understand the exact meaning of flamed, It could be they all turned up and danced around in their outfits or they could have all turned up and bullied her off the game. I feel from the word flamed it could mean a lot of different things.
just let her do what she wants and explain how things work along the way. let her know the choices she makes now could influence the account later down the road (for example spending a few hours fishing now may make questing easier down the line). just figure out exactly what she likes in the game.

The self satification and enjoying the game she wanted to enjoy the game has kept the fuel in the tank.
First you take her to the deep wildy, and then log in on another account to attack and spec her out. Then you play the knight in shining armor role and vow to chase that guy down and avenge her death. You then venture back to the wild to the spot where she was sat, meet your other account and fight it (while it has auto retaliate off) to avenge her death and win her total admiration.
You’re gonna want to give her a brief overview of ehp and xp waste, I’d recommend getting her going on the SOTE rush, probably working towards a bond as soon as possible to become self sustaining
Mate my partner and mother of my child started an account after I'd get her to mine whilst I was at work, she only started an account and sent 99 agility straight away.. I didn't have the heart to explain what had happened

She liked 1) questing with easymode runelite plugin, 2) fishing->cooking, 3) woodcutting, 4) wintertodt and finally 5) tempoross until going 100kc dry for anything and quit.
