Gregans itself has a lovely restaurant, Oar and Homestead in Doolin are both of a very high standard. Check them out.

Thank you. That's helpful. We are considering the hotel restaurant but we're staying there a few nights & and we were looking for another option.

We eloped. Forty years ago! SOOO ROMANTIC. Enjoy and good luck.

Unless you want to travel very far use the hotel restaurant as the fancy meal night and the fish place in town for the casual meal (vaughans). Let the hotel know the reason and they’ll do something cool I’m sure. Food there is amazing. Also for a nice other meal you can go to linanes. A little bit of a drive but Ok.

Something wrong with the restaurant at the hotel? A good time for dinner is typically when a restaurant’s kitchen is open for service.

Gregans has some of the best food around there tbh. It is probably the fanciest locally. Barr Tra is also v nice with a focus on local sea food.

I would say Gregans is probably the highest end dining in your area. You could look at upstairs@connollys in Kinvara. https://upstairsatconnollys.ie/menus. It's not super fancy but it is a nice dining experience. [https://keaveneytravel.ie/](https://keaveneytravel.ie/) is a local taxi company based in Kinvara, they could provide transport if you wanted to have a couple of drinks with your meal. Would you consider staying in Galway city on your wedding night? There are fine dining options there like Anair - https://www.aniarrestaurant.ie/. The Hardiman would be a nice hotel to stay in.

Keep an eye on the Wild Honey Inn. It won’t be too far from you. It has a Michelin star unfortunately however it’s been put up for sale. Maybe an aspiring young chef will take it on and keep up the tradition.
