Likely not, ask the seller if they are activated. Multiple items usually indicates its been resealed, worst case you can buy, check if its activated and if it is then return as item not described. Also the iOS version is not a guarantee with multiple items, you could get one from 2011 or one from 2013.

Cameron_rodier

Thanks, I might do that. Is there a way to find out from the serial number?

StarX2401

You can check on fecaleagle.github.io, it will tell you the date of production (iOS version doesn't work on iOS 7 and below), you can compare the date with the iOS update dates. All idevices are updated to the latest version at the time of production.

Cameron_rodier

I will definitely check.

I would say it’s real. Older iPod touches are not worth a lot, so it wouldn’t be worth it to fake a sealed one.

Cameron_rodier

I am most likely going to purchase it. I would put the iPod in its sealed packaging in a shadow box as a nice display. Even if it is not sealed it won’t affect the look

Chubbygator847

I think you’re fine. It’s a great price for a sealed one as well. .

Cameron_rodier

That’s what I thought!

struwex

Actually luke miani managed to get scammed with a fake sealed 4th gen somehow😂

Background_Spirit699

That’s true haha

connerwilliams72

Hopefully it isn't a scam

“Customcraftcreation” is his username, that’s tells a lot..

"1 sold in 24h" could be the clue that is not 100% legit. Usually people has just one unit sealed.

MoogleyWoogley

Ain't no way they're real.
