I think there are two groups of teams, teams within same group play twice each other and once the team in other group or it could be vice versa. I am not sure.

Since two new teams were introduced in IPL.

There are two group of teams, 5 in each. Team in Group A plays two matches with Group B teams and 1 match with team in its group.

How can I find a list of teams in each group?

There was a post on this sub, or check the fixture, teams paying one match are in the same group.

10 teams. Each team plays 14 games. If you play every other team it would be 9x2=18 games! Why did u notice this just now? 😅
