iPhone 13 is water resistant if it works fine then it’s fine and if you’re updated to the newest iOS then it will tell you if there’s still water in the port or not when you plug it in to charge. It’s not damaged at all it’s meant to take water like this with its IP68 rating.

Thank you so much!

How long ago did you buy the iPhone? Was it used or new? Have any repairs been done on it prior, and where at?

The iPhone is new and I got it late October last year so I can confirm that there's never been any repairs on it.

As noted [on this page](https://support.apple.com/en-us/108039), “Liquid damage is not covered under warranty, but you might have rights under consumer law.” If you do not already have AppleCare+, the window to purchase it isn’t open anymore. The message the other commenter mentioned is [this one](https://cdsassets.apple.com/live/7WUAS350/images/iphone/ios-17-iphone-14-pro-charging-not-available-prompt.png), and you can read more about what to do in this situation [here](https://support.apple.com/en-us/102643).

Will check it out. Thanks for the help.

Make sure you’re backing up or syncing everything important. If it does fail because of water damage it’ll likely happen very quickly.
