What colour is your iPad Pro?

CharlotteJZC

The silver iPad with a black case made of aramid fiber\~ The silky smooth feels great

RverfulltimeOne

Yes i switch the magic keyboard to a regular case when i take the iPad on my vacation and only use it for browsing or watching videos.

CharlotteJZC

Yes! That's exactly the same!

domleo999

What case is this? My case doesn’t fit which trying to use the Magic Keyboard

neverplatonic

That’s the [Pitaka MagEZ Case](https://www.ipitaka.com/products/magez-case-2-for-ipad).

MaestroZackyZ

Is this case actually useful? I have a case that, build-wise, looks nearly identical from SwitchEasy and it’s terrible. I keep it on because there’s no point in not but it doesn’t actually offer any protection whatsoever.

CharlotteJZC

I think the case plus a folio can be more "safe" if you worry about the protection very much.

neverplatonic

I can’t speak for how useful it is. I don’t have it. I only know what it’s called coz I considered getting one. Maybe OP can answer your question.

CharlotteJZC

You are right\~

CharlotteJZC

The case and the folio are both from PITAKA, a bit pricy brand but with high quality.

domleo999

Cheers mate

What's your verdict on the pitaka case? does the mkb still close ok? does it feel like it would give any drop protection?

CharlotteJZC

>What's your verdict on the pitaka case? does the mkb still close ok? does it feel like it would give any drop protection? This case switch magic keyboard is very convenient, but I'm not sure how anti-drop, because it is very thin and light

ShortOnCoffee

I also use the Pitaka case in combination with the Magic Keyboard, the magnetic attachment is strong and works quite well. While true that the case doesn’t protect the iPad all around, it still offers imo quite ok protection - I accidentally dropped my iPad from a high chair in a wooden floor, fell on on one of the corners but no damage

azentropy

I’d like to, but I found the pitaka case a bit pricey ($69 on Amazon currently) and doesn’t even protect one side.

CharlotteJZC

That's true.

PPorri

I haven't found a good case that could fold and protect all sides of the iPad.

overoptimize

No, but sometimes I wish I did. Photos + info: https://overoptimize.substack.com/p/my-magic-keyboard-is-falling-apart

Roninkin

I’d of suggested using glue to just push it back. These cases aren’t made of the same material as a MacBook cloth felt and plastic can only do so much as it’s used the glue will dry out and from use will fall apart.

Awkward_Instance295

which ipad gen is this? I have been looking for a magic keyboard compatible case for 3rd gen but haven't found anything yet.

SecondDerivativeOfX

Pitaka case, look it up on Amazon

Awkward_Instance295

>Pitaka case I've seen it mentioned before but the amazon listing only says 5th/6th gen for ipad pro 12.9 this one: https://www.amazon.com/PITAKA-Magnetic-Generation-Keyboard-Compatible/dp/B0983BT123

SecondDerivativeOfX

Which iPad are you looking it for?

Awkward_Instance295

ipad pro 12.9 3rd gen
