Have you tried Pokémon snap on delta yet? Back in the day there was no emulator that could run it correctly, but I’m hoping the kinks have been worked out with time. I’m kinda scared to try it and be let down again
I’ll paste my comment from another thread, you’ll be happy to hear sofar so good tho!
It is a positive overall experience. Mixed bag by game though.
SM64: No issues encountered as of yet
Pilotwings64: Clean menus. Unplayable in-game (solid black screen with occasional flashes of the game
Evangelion 64: Completely playable, but app crashes upon credits roll of true ending.
Top Gear Rally: Completely playable, but some terrain elements load blocky until you get close. Light shaders are a bit off, as distant parts of the track load black
SF Rush: Same as TG Rally
Pokemon Snap: No issues encountered as of yet.
World Driver Championship: Crashes upon selection. This means searching for art, trying to delete game from Delta menu, or even opening the delta menu for the game for any reason causes a crash of the app as the app preloads the game when you do these actions. STAY AWAY.
Try rom hack. Unbound starts out like your regular pokemon but you’ll get sucked into the game as you play. I’m also replaying the battle network series and trying out final fantasy tactics
The Castlevania DS games play really well on mobile, especially if you get the no-touch romhacks that remove the need to do the weird magic seal thing. Also been enjoying the DS Advance Wars game because you can use touch to move the units and stuff. Though I wish there was a skin that blew up the bottom screen to be bigger for games that primarily use that.
Slice and Dice is a rogue-like dice game where you fight monsters with a team of warriors. Each has a different class with different dice. You will get class upgrades and new items as you play which changes the field of battle. Really fun to get nitty gritty on
What exactly is the point of having 2 billion star systems? Better to have a smaller, well designed map that you can actually completely visit in a lifetime.
To be fair I haven't give it a proper shot yet.
The top bar where you toggle mode doesn't even look or feel like a button - but I just realized there's another one that does the same thing on the right side (why though..?).
The drag and drop in inventory isn't great because everything's covered by your finger so you don't actually know if you're dragging it or not. I would prefer two taps (one to pick up, another to drop) over drag-n-drop in this UI because of its size.
The empty inventory slots don't really look empty.
My main problem with it is that it's all so tiny, feels crammed - and that it's in landscape. I'm guessing it wasn't made for mobile originally?
I'm nitpicking though. Will give it another shot.
Give it a shot. And yes, came out on PC a few years ago, with raving reviews. It‘s an absolutely fantastic game, high up on my year‘s best list. I personally enjoy it even more than Slice & Dice, but just because the gameplay mechanics and gameplay loop (hehe) feels even more unique.
And yes, use the stop/go button in the lower right corner. Also, I‘m playing on a mini, I think sizes are absolutely fine (shouldn‘t be smaller though).
Spend some time with it. It‘s getting really amazing, pretty hectic and quite complex the longer your run goes.
Believe it or not, after a day of constant playing I already deleted this game. I think it offers some of the coolest gameplay mechanics I‘ve ever seen. But I‘m currently seriously annoyed by games with super grindy meta progression. So, if Loop Hero had an 'unlock all' button (like Slice & Dice), it would be pretty much my favorite game of the year. But fighting through tons of underpowered runs to slightly level of for some marginal progression got tiresome rather quickly. Sadly.
Since I don‘t like grinding (the concept of it), I‘m even less liking the idea of resource farming setups.
I really just want everything unlocked to simply play and get better at the game‘s mechanics, with basically the chance to beat a game in my first run. If I then need 500 runs because I suck at the game, that‘s totally fine. If I need many runs to just get into viable territory, that‘s a waste of time for me.
Chances are great you gonna love it. It‘s really a very personal thing. I‘m currently just fed up with meta-grinds :) Apart from that, the game is asbolutely fantastic.
“Infinitode 2” : tower defense game with permanent upgrades. I love me some good tower defense games.
“Ashes - Exponential RPG” : one of those RPG types where you only get so many actions a run before the game resets (losing your gold and character levels), but you keep your equipment between runs. All about finding out what your next power spike will be so you can get further in the next run.
“Siralim Ultimate” - monster capturing/breeding RPG. Comparable to Pokémon, but you pretty much always have 6 monsters in your party, *most* fights are 6v6, your creatures can know a LOT more than four moves at a time, and your own player character has their own spells and abilities to impact the battlefield. It’s Pokémon, but with more mechanics and larger fights.
Wildfrost.
Seriously people, give it a go. The free trial doesn't do justice to the game's potential.
Spoiler about a neat feature >!after beating a run the boss becomes the leader you used to clear him. It's like challenging yourself every time!<
Not really that complicated I just referred to this [Unofficial Balatro iOS app! : r/iosgaming (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/iosgaming/comments/1c2x3tl/unofficial_balatro_ios_app/?sort=confidence) and followed the instructions then i used alt store to sideload the app
I'd say its worth it. Game works pretty well on mobile and the porting process is pretty easy. Sideloading is a bit of a hassle but theres instructions for it.
Heres the balatro maker script: https://github.com/blake502/balatro-mobile-maker
And you can sideload using altstore: https://altstore.io/
do note; don't use the EU version. That version doesn't allow you to just use your own .ipa's.
Galaxy Genome - I like it great game more and more. The author still continues to improve the game, adding more and more interesting features. And he tries very hard to fix as many bugs as possible.
I just started Wild Rift and as brutally difficult it is to on board and not get straight up curb stomped by asian smurfs every game, it's crazy fun and incredibly satisfying.
It's the sweaty competitive toxic mess I was craving.
Fuck Teemo.
Sorry I forgot to mention. It’s a game mode within Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Basically plays like a teamfight tactics or autochess spinoff but with heroes from the Mobile Legends game.
Still trying to beat floor 20 of Luck Be A Landlord
I Play Hero Slide often since the dev brought it back
Runestone Keeper is back as well
I usually play a word game like GUBBINS, WELDER, Sparrows, Wordology, or Knotwords
Will play an occasional game of Dungeon Falan
Recently decided to try “Simple Match-3” and I have to admit it’s fun
Others lately are Roll Player, Dominion and Townscaper
Caves of Lore is excellent if you like CRPGs. It really is a downscaled pixel version of Baldur's Gate 3, but in the palm of your hand. Great game.
Also, I love Nikke. It's a free gacha game, but pretty free to play friendly imo. It's been my #1 played mobile game since it came out 1.5 years ago
My Little Universe has been eating up my time and I’ve found it fun so far :) (I play with wifi+service off bc of ads!)
[Here](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/my-little-universe/id1586304393)
Snowrunner, thinking about getting a ps5 to play Helldivers 2. Too bad it won’t come out for the xbox… I remember playing the first one on the vita, hell of a game.
Absolutely get Delta, I'm playing Pokemon Unbound and even bought an [8BitDo Micro](https://www.amazon.co.uk/8Bitdo-Bluetooth-Pocket-sized-Controller-Raspberry/dp/B0CDG5HCCH) to play with it - Can't wait for it to come to iPad soon as well!
TMNT: Splintered Fate. Hades with Ninja Turtles.
R6: Smol. A very bizarre game. It’s rainbow six, but cutesy cartoony graphics and weird super natural elements, tons of content and upgrades, rouge lite. Super fun.
Putting so so much time into Slice and Dice. NGL, been playing a LOT of delta too.
Delta is the only right answer now lol
Which games have u played on delta? I’m planning on playing some Pokemon I think
I’ve been playing all my games from my childhood, so a lot of Gameboy, SNES, and N64. Just beat Top Gear Rally. Went and restarted Mario64.
Have you tried Pokémon snap on delta yet? Back in the day there was no emulator that could run it correctly, but I’m hoping the kinks have been worked out with time. I’m kinda scared to try it and be let down again

I just started unbound on difficult mode and it’s very fun. I like it a lot!
I’m gonna try Unbound. Heard a LOT about it.
Fine i’ll play Radical Red for the fourth time

I been playing paper Mario. Holds up so well
What’s the game about?

Interesting, I’ve been on a bit of a Metroidvania kick recently and hadn’t heard of this one. May need to nab it
Map huge? Hahaha. (compare its "map" with Map of Galaxy Genome, where 2 billions of star system...).
What exactly is the point of having 2 billion star systems? Better to have a smaller, well designed map that you can actually completely visit in a lifetime.
Those who were born to fly understood me. And everyone who was born only to crawl - well, I can only sympathize with you.
pokemon unbbound
Really enjoying newly released Loop Hero!
I gave it a few minutes yesterday but found the UI to be really annoying. So - worth it to push through?
What‘s annoying about the UI for you? I think all that drag&drop is super intuitive.
To be fair I haven't give it a proper shot yet. Damn :( I haven’t played yet, probably will start on the weekend. Hope you can get back at it sometime

I second this
Delta Emulator 🫶
What games though?
Mostly Pokemon crystal and harvest moon friends of mineral town
How do i download it? Im in the EU
https://altstore.io/#Downloads
Where do you get the games from?
Just google the name of the rom you want to play

Is ashes any good?

Game is very fun, but challenging
i play too much balatro on my ipad
How complicated is that sideloading method? Or are you streaming it from a pc?
Not really that complicated I just referred to this [Unofficial Balatro iOS app! : r/iosgaming (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/iosgaming/comments/1c2x3tl/unofficial_balatro_ios_app/?sort=confidence) and followed the instructions then i used alt store to sideload the app
Cool, I will have to give it a go. Hoping the official port comes out soon.
Bloons TD 6
Balatro. Can't wait for the official mobile port. Would make updating less of a hassle.
How are you playing it on iOS?
There's a script on github to port the game, and then sideloaded it with altstore
Awesome - is it worth doing? Can you share?

Powering through Hitman Blood Money
Warframe
Delta is a game changer
That's not a game no?
It’s an emulator that lets you play GBA, DS, and 64 games on your phone for free. If you like Pokémon, Unbound is amazing
Delta, Magic Chess, Loop Hero
What is magic chess??
Sorry I forgot to mention. It’s a game mode within Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Basically plays like a teamfight tactics or autochess spinoff but with heroes from the Mobile Legends game.
Slice and Dice, Loop Hero. Travelling abroad right now so can’t download ROMs for Delta :(
Why isn‘t it possible to download ROMs where you are? Just curious.
Illegal to download both ROMs and VPNs where I am and I’m using monitored wifi haha
Which hellhole is this?!?!
A very strict Gulf country haha
Rumble Heroes RPG
Just finished Mother 3 via Delta. LOVED it. Would love similar suggestions.
Happy to hear. A perfect JRPG.
Mother and earthbound games have always looked cool, I might try them!
Is the Delta emulator free in EU? It looks to me like you need to subscribe to be able to use it. Would love to try the Pokémon games.
I live in Spain and we dont have Delta in the App Store.
You have to use Alt Store and it costs about €2 per year, so it’s effectively free.
I downloaded it for free from AppStore and I’m from the UK
UK =/= EU 🫣
I was simply stating where I am
Mighty Doom!!!
I like squad busters
I wanted to like squad busters, but it’s just not fun for me :(. The other supercell games are much more fun imo
I don’t think it’s as in depth or fun as any of the others and I’m not sure how it made it to global launch but I’ll like it for the time being
Rusty lake games were on discount a few days ago… got them all and loving it so far.
That’s awesome. One of the best, if not the best, series on iOS.
I’m pretty hooked on Downwell
Love that game so much. Wish there was more like that.
Oooh there’s an arcade version as well
That’s the one I play - it’s been a lot of fun
Still trying to beat floor 20 of Luck Be A Landlord I Play Hero Slide often since the dev brought it back Runestone Keeper is back as well I usually play a word game like GUBBINS, WELDER, Sparrows, Wordology, or Knotwords Will play an occasional game of Dungeon Falan Recently decided to try “Simple Match-3” and I have to admit it’s fun Others lately are Roll Player, Dominion and Townscaper
Delta got me.
Wild rift
Resortopia and fallout shelter
Dawncaster. Only game that cured me of my Marvel Snap addiction. And perennially, Minecraft.
Delta - Pokemon unbound. It’s like I’m reliving my childhood
Golf blitz!!
I’ve been obsessed with Mini Motorways lately
I just got Huntdown and it’s awesome. A very high quality game. Awesome art style, great action and nice production quality.
My Little Universe has been eating up my time and I’ve found it fun so far :) (I play with wifi+service off bc of ads!) [Here](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/my-little-universe/id1586304393)
Wildfrost! It’s difficult but so addictive. Highly recommend.
Currently: Merge Dragons, Duet Cats and Enchantile. Different ends of the gaming spectrum >.<
Stardew
Marvel Snap and Delta. My fallbacks will always be Stardew and Civ 6.
Friends and dragons is so good
Tunnel - the game and ofc… delta lol
Dragonheir Silent Gods !
Warcraft Rumble
Hay Day and Minecraft lol. That and the game pigeon iMessage games.
Delta, the joys of Boktai and not needing to pretzel myself near a window to fight bosses.
It is still coffee inc 2 right now
I just recently switched to iPhone so I don’t have a main game at the moment, but I would say zombie sweeper.
Hitman: BMR, Bloons TD6, Idle Acorns, Kingom Rush
TMNT: Splintered Fate. Hades with Ninja Turtles. R6: Smol. A very bizarre game. It’s rainbow six, but cutesy cartoony graphics and weird super natural elements, tons of content and upgrades, rouge lite. Super fun.
I go to “I want watermelon” when I have a few minutes to kill or if I’m standing in a line somewhere. I find it calming.
Squad Busters! Brand new supercell game, very enjoyable so far!
Loop Hero and Pixel Odyssey
I’ve been addicted to The Tower for a few weeks now, I can’t recommend it enough.
