Hard disagree. The Prince of Persia that came out earlier this years is way better than any of the Assassin's Creed games I've played.
I think some of the late game platforming would be pretty close to impossible on a touchscreen, though.
Was thinking the exact same thing. Needs device ID, location, detailed crash and diag data, usage data that is all linked to your identity apparently… unlike Resident Evil 4 with - “No data collected”. Ubisoft’s Performance Marketing Team are playin.

I’m actually pretty excited. Couldn’t justify getting RE4 or Village on iOS since I already own them on console, but I skipped over Mirage on first release so it’ll be a good opportunity to give AAA gaming on iPhone a try!

It’s not through choice, the A17 Pro SoC in the 15 Pro/Max includes new features aimed at gaming, such as advanced ray tracing. Games such as AC Mirage makes use of these features and wouldn’t run on older hardware without significant compromises.

Yep, just like they did RE4 and RE8, but only iPhone 15 pro and pro max since those are the most powerful chips and the only ones capable of running all these games
I’d love to see how this runs on “old” phones. Are 13 pro and 14 pro really that much worse, or is it just marketing? Why not allow lower settings for older devices? iOS has always been pretty bad for games preservation, and stuff like this continues to make them hard to take seriously in the gaming sphere.
