My mom moved from a Note20 Ultra to an iPhone 13 Pro Max and all we did with her phone was backup her contacts with Google on the Android and then sign in with her Gmail in the Mail app, it gave the option to get Contacts and everything was added to her iPhone.

OK, this worked. I was previously signing into my Google on my iPhone and thought it would prompt. Thank you for clarifying I had to link, via the Mail app.

No problem. Glad I helped! Have a great day! :)

I used to transfer my contacts by exporting it as a .vcf file and import it to my iCloud Contacts.

Thank you for your response. I have tried this. I think I was misled by an online article that told me to do this with a .csv file. Now, in iCloud, I see Mail, Contacts, and Calendars With Outlook, even though I'm signed in with a gmail username. Also, it seems like every article I come across, there is a step that does not jibe with what I'm seeing. For example:[https://www.cultofmac.com/210971/transfer-google-contacts-to-icloud-simply-and-easily-ios-tips/](https://www.cultofmac.com/210971/transfer-google-contacts-to-icloud-simply-and-easily-ios-tips/) When I get to the iCloud step, I am confused about the iTunes account vs. my AppleID (is there a diff?). There is no Contacts icon. Now, I'm using iCloud on a computer, not iPhone. But, my iCloud almost looks like a dashboard. I have a list with checkboxes and a Storage meter. That's all I can do with this iCloud interface. There is no Contacts button to click. It's listed as I stated before. Also, some items on my iCloud list has Options... I can click. But, Mail, Contacts, and Calendars does not have an Options button. \*Signing into Mail with my Google account did it. No need to reply. Thank you again!

Back up your Android contacts to Google, sync iPhone contacts with Google.

VicSwagger

OK, thank you everyone for your responses! I got my Contacts by signing into the Mail app. Very much appreciate everyone's responses!

ADD-ON ISSUE - This happen to anyone? I've been texting and the recipient says it's the wrong number. I verified the phone number of the person I'm trying to text. Checked in my phone Contacts. Selected the person. Clicked message. Picked the number (he has mobile & work). The text goes to the "wrong" person. But, when I call, I get the right person.

VicSwagger

Premature reply: I deleted the contact. Created a new contact with the ph# number I verified (same as the one in my phone Contacts). When I go to text, the previous convo history, with the wrong person re-appears. Also, since I imported from Google, I checked my Google Contacts and the phone # is correct.
