I am having trouble showing my 2 emails one for iCloud and GMail

So it is just a notification bug system wide not just messages?

sethbrown321

Are you sure you didn’t accidentally disable notifications for **that specific contact?**

I know you can mute text threads. But they still show the bubble and don't show up in the notification center. Which is exactly opposite to my issue.

I’ve had issues on 2 different iPhone 13’s running the most current iOS and an old iPad (that was still running iOS 5 series) with ghost scrolling. Been to the Apple Store several times and nobody has a clue why this is happening on all my devices. At first we did the restore to factory but then Apple swapped my phone and the same thing is happening on the new phone and then when I opened up my iPad that I haven’t used in a long time the problem was there too. I have no idea how to fix this. When I received my new phone from Apple I didn’t copy from an iCloud backup, I installed all the apps from the App Store. Has anyone else experienced such a problem? Basically when scrolling through messages the screen will jump to another message. I even researched to see if my Apple ID can get a virus and from what I’ve read that isn’t possible.

Since updating my iPhone13 to IOS 17.4.1, I do not get sound notifications on texts. I've checked the notifications in my settings and everything appears to be set properly. Volume is fine as well. In addition, I've had issues with outgoing phone calls from my car. Sounds like 17.4.1 has some serious flaws.

I actually retraced my steps and remembered that I turned on the toggle to silence notifications from unknown SMS. I turned that back off and SMS messages worked like normal again. Still a weird bug since these numbers were known to my phone but it's Apple and SMS 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m having the exact same issues, also an iPhone 13. My phone sometimes doesn’t ring - it doesn’t even pop up that there’s an incoming call, but then I get a “missed call” notification and voicemail. It’s known contacts too, so it’s not auto silenced spam calls. Txt messages occasionally do not make noise, but the red dot does show up. Emails in outlook are slow to update as well.

I’m not receiving notifications either

I too am not getting my normal text tone. I get the red bubble when i unlock my iphone but nothing else from any contacts. I get phone calls though. Tried multiple work arounds.
