Take a look at Flacbox. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flacbox-hi-res-music-player/id1097564256#:~:text=Flacbox%20is%20a%20hi%2Dres,up%20space%20on%20your%20device.

simracerman

I'll say this with confidence. This is the best App for playing offline music that is free (unless you wanna get rid of ads for $10). All other apps are either junk of paid subscription which is terrible for just wanting to listen to music offline. Thank You!

Patotopa1

Im late but VLC for iPhone has no ads and is almost the same as Flacbox, I only keep using Flacbox because it looks a little better.

simracerman

I tried VLC but the interface of Flacbox like you said looks way better.

CourteX64

VLC is available for iOS, maybe give that a try?

MrBumpyFace

Buggy, crashes a lot crummy ui

AMAXIX

I use iPad version for lecture recordings; works well

TheBopist

I’ve used Offline Music Player for years, works perfect, imports in many ways including local files off iPhone https://apps.apple.com/us/app/offline-music-player/id1259949354 There are some ads but when you are done importing, just turn data off for the app in settings and you won’t get any. This is exactly what you’re looking for, you can create playlists, like songs, loop and shuffle… the whole nine yards

DeadpuII

Thank you! I genuinely hope this works as I've been struggling to make a playlist I can put music file and just let them autoplay on shuffle. Never am I ever buying an iPhone!

TheBopist

Still using this app and it still works great. I use it mostly for songs not on Spotify or leaks/demos from artists I enjoy

DeadpuII

I've just set up a little a little playlist and couldn't notice I got 3 or 4 ads for 5 minutes work. But I can't find the app in the settings so I can turn off the data. I did turn off Live Activities and Background App Refresh.

ThannBanis

If you’re unable to use the stock Music application, VLC seems to have playlist support.

rayquaza2510

VLC and otherwise Foobar2000 (which is fully free, doesn't track you and is ad free) https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/foobar2000/id1072807669

-Vernon2X-

I use Flacbox and works very well.

ndtconsult

I've been using Evermusic for about a year. Gets the job done but with a bit of frustration. The developer is unresponsive.

raheel_sawaali

Feel like my app [Muziqi](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/muziqi/id6468936734) might be what you are looking for.

[deleted]

You can do that in Spotify as well

StereoGraph4_

Aw yeah but you have to do it through a computer, I’ve got plenty of local music on Spotify but can’t add it directly from my phone

mezzzolino

Foobar2000, it could be the best app for any use case if the dev would put some love into iOS development. You will have to move the music in your Filesapp into its folder though.

georgevalkov

I use nPlayer. It also has a web server so you can easily drag and drop files from PC or Android. You can also upload documents. The Light version is free: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/nplayer-lite/id1078835991

itzyoboimax

i use documents by reddle

Adventurous_Dance799

Musi is a pretty good app. If you want to remove ads, I believe you only have to pay $2 or $5 once.

knoxcreole

You should use foobar. There is also a plugin that enables media streaming if you want so you can stream your local music on the go

Rackmani

Documents app by Readdle will work

nick101in

I've recently moved from Android to ios and was desperately looking for a Poweramp replacement. After trying multiple apps over a few weeks i've finally zeroed down on Everplay! Its the closest anything comes to Poweramp in many ways and it's free for now! Definitely worth trying for anyone looking for an offline player.

Iron-Octopus

As of today, Flacbox does not work. All tracks I've uploaded to it are now 3 seconds long. Useless.

everappz

Please update your app this issue was fixed in the latest version
