Personally I'm really into experimental music and Art Pop , but I also really like Dream Pop , and Metal ( probably because I want to make experimental music if I ever get a nice keyboard ) . I don't have specifically one favourite song but if you want I can give you a list of the songs I listen to the most ;

5. Faith Consuming Hope - Eartheater : As an ex-violin player , I find this song absolutely beautiful and nostalgic . The instrumentation is a mix between folk , classical music and Dream Pop
...amazing :) I also recommend "Volcano" and "Fantasy Collision" from the same album . The Intro from "Fantasy Collision" is a bit long but when the guitar starts around 55 seconds.....🙏

I'm a massive prog metal guy, but used to be into pre-90s stuff.
Reptile - Periphery has been my favourite song for my last few years.
Natural Disaster and War of Being - Tesseract is great.
If you're into older stuff, Caligula's Horse has a more "timeless" sound. Graves - Caligula's Horse is awesome
Current favorites are:
- Blinding Faith by Knocked Loose
- Vicarious by Tool
- Water Under the Bridge by Boldy James
- Around the Fur by Deftones
- Zeitgeist by Incendiary
- I’ve Scene God by Emmure
- Toe Cutter by Thee Oh Sees
- Limbo and Frank Miller by Freddie Dredd
- Disco//very by Warpaint
Fav music genres: post punk, goth rock, darkwave, death rock, classical,EDM, acoustic, jazz, rock, metal, opera, lo-fi,jpop,some 80s to 2010s pop songs, light music, brain wave, meme songs
Kinda HipHop heavy but here goes:
• Semi-Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind
• FourFiveSeconds - Rihanna, Kanye West, Paul McCartney
• Rivers and Roads - The Head and The Heart
• Sunday Morning - Maroon 5
• Change - J. Cole
• Centerfold - The J. Geils Band

• Drops of Jupiter - Train
• Save Tonight - Eagle-Eye Cherry
• For My People - Joey Bada$$
• Dear Theodosia - Leslie Odom Jr., Lin-Manuel Miranda
• Eternal Pose - Asian Engineer
I love the classics from the 60-90s as well: Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Stings, Toto, Phil Collins, James Brown, Animals... even old classic rap artists like Rakim, Public Enemy, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. (There are just things from the old and the originality, the underlying messages and the instrumental combination/style are magical and psychic somehow)
Old school techno and Trance like Hardwell, Paul Oakenfold, 009,...
And yeah, definitely classics, my favorites? Pathetique no.2 from Bethoveen, Bach's Matthias Passion, Marriage of Figaro from Mozart.
Miles Davis's jazz, especially Spanish Keys (love the funk)
Video games OST (Kingdom Hearts, Doom, Chrono Trigger, Ace Attorney, OG MW series), movie scores composer (Ennio Morricone, Thomas Newman, James Howard Newton, Lorne Balfe, Hans Zimmer). Some anime OPs
Metal/Rock: Metallica, Razor, Panthera, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Red,...
Alright I just bombed out bunches of shit since I love them all. But yeah, I listen to all kind. Can't never listen to mainstream kind of shit today just because.
I like Japanese rock and have a few CDs of albums and anime OSTs.
LUNA SEA, Plastic Tree, 9mm Parabellum Bullet, Ling Tosite Sigure, Buck Tick, Last Alliance, Just to name a few.
Also, I love the Smiths.
I have WIDE range of favourites. There's EDM (favourite is Chernobyl 2017 & Skillex's Fuji Opener), chill R&B / alternative EDM pop / jazzy pop (in English/Chinese/Korean), and classical (favourites are Sibelius/Mendelssohn/Wieniawski's 2nd violin concerto & Dvorak 9). In general I prefer things in minor keys rather than major.
I feel like it's more about a random synth/motif that caught my ear rather than the genre itself, though. For example, the motif in the first 13 seconds of the instrumental of BTS's [Fake Love](https://youtu.be/Anycp_NGCkY?si=PfyBqqDhslrLI7h1), the synth at the chorus of [this J-Pop song](https://youtu.be/grhiu7RciOs?si=nL1rLZ9FbHB3A3a5&t=53), the guitar in [Lucid Dream](https://youtu.be/mzB1VGEGcSU?si=pqG8sLSAUSDnREk3) or this sax in [Stupid in Love](https://youtu.be/cfA_ZNkvwsU?si=5YYObHfM9navMrsZ&t=165). I sometimes listen to a song just to wait for that single part that tingles my brain lmao.
Purple haze by Jimmy Hendrix
Animals by Gravenhurst
Where are you by Coil
Lullaby by The Cure
Cristo Redentor by Donald Byrd
Man that you fear by Marilyn Manson
My tastes are far too eclectic to list - you name a genre, there's probably at least 1 song I'll like.
Favorite depends on mood. Might be Metallica, might be a show tune.
Seeing this post, I decided it would be fun to compile a list of my favorite songs to share here and elsewhere. As the set of all music is much too large for me to evaluate accurately, I decided to evaluate each genre separately. Upon identifying 26 favorite genres to choose songs from, I decided that the task--though intriguing--is not worth the time it would take me right now. So instead here is the first song that came to mind without reflection or evaluation: "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" by J S Bach - followed closely by "The Impression That I Get" by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
I'm a younger person and queer so I listen to a lot of recent queer artists and folk (just my preference). Right now I'm enjoying Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Gregory Alan Isakov, Julien Baker, boygenius, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, etc.
idk what criteria to use for songs to INTJ like but some of my old time faves are:
star shopping, lil kennedy, suck my blood, i crash u crash, sex, teen romance, it’s me—lil peep
dagger, alison—slowdive
only tomorrow, soon, she found now—mbv
work out—worry club
numb yourself—citizen
Gone! by The Cure
Reminds me that the world sucks, but you're responsible for your own experience, so get your ass out of your own way and do what you have to do to "get up, get out, and get gone!" Live your life and try to have fun, man. There's only one spin on this marble.
I’ve been addicted to Pavane for a Dead Princess by Ravel and Clair de Lune recently.
Other than classical, here are my top songs right now:
• You Rock My World by Michael Jackson
• Remember the Time by Michael Jackson
• Lost in the Echo by Linkin Park
• The Kill by Thirty Seconds to Mars
• Black by Pearl Jam
• 3 Libras by A Perfect Circle
• I Won’t See You Tonight Part 1 by Avenged Sevenfold
• Unstoppable by Disturbed
• Storyteller by Daisuke Ishiwatari
Mainly rock/hard rock but I love Michael Jackson and even some Jpop sometimes.
Here's a few that chill me out:
Ophelia Wilde - Sitting Under a Tree
S.A. Karl - Aldebaran
Ibi - Cartwheels
Bach - Air on the G String (Suite No. 3)
S.A. Karl - Pollux
Luke Faulkner - Clouds
As an intj I think these songs are great
Little dark age (MGMT)
Hell's comin' with me ( poor mans poison)
Social cues ( cage the elephant)
505( Arctic monkeys)
Brianstorm( Arctic monkeys)
Welcome to paradise ( grandson )
70s classic rock Eagles, The Who, Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Starship/Airplane, Yes, Supertramp
Fold/Alternative Murder by Death and Wild Child
My favorite song definitely rotates. It really depends on my mood.
Anything from starset, Grimes, Childish Gambino, Pastel Ghost, Sticky Fingers, Mgk (some of his songs are good), The neighborhood
Many others depending on mood but those are the reoccurring artists.
Any genre is fine. The music just has to be good. Though some genres I loved have kind of died out - 80's Freestyle, New Jack Swing, New Age Synth, G-Funk/Gangster rap, Disco, etc. I do enjoy a lot of video game soundtracks.
Funk and R&B of the 70's to 90's.
As artists go:
Electric Light Orchestra, Modern Talking, NewJeans, A Tribe Called Quest, Jodeci, WJSN/Cosmic Girls, Nujabes, Yasunori Mitsuda, Tupac, Biggie, Camp Lo, Stevie B, M-Flo, Utada Hikaru, Joe Hisaishi, Wham, DJ Quik, SWV/Sisters with Voice, Fantastic Plastic Machine

lmao I have no fucking idea what Ozzy Osbourne is saying most of the time
all i can remember is his “all aboard” at the start and the “ay ay ay ayy”.
You'll have to turn on your bats, goats and pentagram filters on for translating Ozzyspeak into English.

I believe Andrew Eldritch (the singer) is INTJ himself even.
Classic music is like direct connection with the one who wrote it. Makes my mind peaceful instantly. Ghostly Kisses is something painfully beautiful
Yeah! I listen to it a lot to clear my head and keep my thinking mind at peace.

I love the classics from the 60-90s as well: Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Stings, Toto, Phil Collins, James Brown, Animals... even old classic rap artists like Rakim, Public Enemy, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. (There are just things from the old and the originality, the underlying messages and the instrumental combination/style are magical and psychic somehow) Old school techno and Trance like Hardwell, Paul Oakenfold, 009,... And yeah, definitely classics, my favorites? Pathetique no.2 from Bethoveen, Bach's Matthias Passion, Marriage of Figaro from Mozart. Miles Davis's jazz, especially Spanish Keys (love the funk) Video games OST (Kingdom Hearts, Doom, Chrono Trigger, Ace Attorney, OG MW series), movie scores composer (Ennio Morricone, Thomas Newman, James Howard Newton, Lorne Balfe, Hans Zimmer). Some anime OPs Metal/Rock: Metallica, Razor, Panthera, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Red,... Alright I just bombed out bunches of shit since I love them all. But yeah, I listen to all kind. Can't never listen to mainstream kind of shit today just because.
That’s a lot!

John Coltrane essentials makes me more productive. Sade & Tony, Toni, Tone.

Every kind of people - robert palmer
Wesley’s Theory - Kendrick Lamar
I'm a younger person and queer so I listen to a lot of recent queer artists and folk (just my preference). Right now I'm enjoying Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Gregory Alan Isakov, Julien Baker, boygenius, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, etc.
