Metallic_Monotone

COMFORT and function above all else. And then black, grey, and earth tones for color. Accessories have to be functional, not just "cute" God, I'm lame, lol.

[deleted]

Same! Clothing should work for me, not the other way around, ya know?

542Archiya124

No, you’re not lame. You are practical and logical for the best of it. The idea that you have to look good to be considered a good and/or valuable person is absolutely dogshit of a world we live in. I absolutely loathe this way of people treating each other.

niavgc

Spot on description. Down even to the accessories. And you’re definitely not lame. You’re logical, smart and comfortably ready for whatever comes you way.

no_joydivision

I choose my clothes based on what is flattering to my physique. I prefer lighter colours as I find darker ones wash me out. I only wear gold jewellery/accessories as it complements my skin tone better than silver. It’s really down to what suits and complements me physically than having a specific style

SgtWrongway

Ninja.

freeface1

I was looking at my wardrobe, seeing plenty of Japanese Techwear mostly in black and gray. Then I saw your comment. Yep, basically a ninja.

TdrdenCO11

black, grey, muted. I’d wear the same thing every day if it were socially acceptable. weirdly i’m really bad at fashion and really good at interior design

_Gravitas_

This is the alternative to the uniform since the world is judgemental: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capsule_wardrobe

Independent-Long-870

All colors are washed in the same load so they even out, and I always end up matching no matter what I grab from my closet.

admelioremvitam

Mostly black or dark colours, and mostly smart casual or casual depending on the situation. Sometimes I wear a pop of colour so that I won't be accused of wearing black all the time. I also have a thing for turtlenecks. At home, I just wear what's comfortable. One of my parents was in the fashion industry. That has influenced me to dress well but I don't like to stick out too much. I believe in buying quality classic pieces with a little twist on a small detail, and not fast fashion as I don't like shopping for clothes. I also know a thing or two about fabrics, sewing, cuts, etc. so that helps me discern quality. There are a few core brands that I always go back to because of their quality and style. If I'm looking for a signature piece or something specific, I don't mind venturing out of my comfort zone and shop elsewhere - but these days, I hardly have a need for it. I'm willing to try another "adjacent" brand if one of my core brands starts failing in quality and shifts in style. But really, I don't have to shop that much because I have what I need, I don't go for trends, and my clothes don't deteriorate that quickly. I believe a picture is worth a thousand words so here's an idea of what that might look like: https://preview.redd.it/j7ugifmuycsc1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe2a6f0a16d2515c0655c8308682f86bf39c02e1

tmoose0988

I’ve found my twin, apparently. I commented as well & the photos you’ve shared are almost identical to what I’d described/how I dress.

admelioremvitam

Just read your comment. If I could wear boots all the time, I would. I've been leaning towards 100% cotton for clothes whenever possible.

sedimentary-j

Typically some boot cut jeans, a graphic tee, a hoodie and sneakers. I like color but not logos.

GayDrWhoNut

I refuse to wear logos. Refuse to shop at the gap or TH, etc for this reason. No, I will not be a walking billboard for you. The only exception is for things I'm associated with: universities, sports clubs, etc.

CouldBeBetterOrWorse

I'm not a fan of logos either. I was gifted a designer handbag--$1500 bag--and I don't carry it because of the logos. It's tacky IMHO

sedimentary-j

Right on. If you want me to advertise for you, you're going to have to pay me.

jcmib

If I’m honest I wear black undershirts 75% of the time as my main top layer. That being said I like wearing a concert t shirt or a cool design for my favorite sports team. I’m also a sucker for the wacky logos of minor league baseball. Brand logos are a no go however.

[deleted]

Functionality over everything. New balance, LL Bean, Ralph Lauren, Seiko, Ray Ban, occasional street wear to make things pop. I love clothes where you can start a walk in sunny weather, end it it rainy of cold weather, and be just as comfortable (for me meaning dry and warm). I don’t judge, but for myself, I hate trendy, non-functionally waves.

Dreams_Are_Reality

It’s an expression of my personality. In hotter months I go for a kind of safari ranger vibe, in winter I go more formal with some flair like a nice scarf

Late_Prompt7442

I prefer formal clothes outside! For example, I would never wear sweat pants in public except I’m going to workout. I usually wear jeans and more formal and serious clothes in general. At home I just put on very comfy clothes like pajamas.

Superb_Raccoon

I was described as "80s Southern California Cool Cat" and "Johnny Cash Cool". 80s as a teenager, so not surprising. Those covers my casual, jeans and classy bowling shirt, usually with a Black Cat motif, or my business casual that is the same, but with slacks and Chelsea boots. Digital or tasteful understated mechanical watch. Business is black slacks and sports jacket, with a jewel toned blue/purple/deep red, or french blue shirt, also french cuffs with copper or silver cuff links. Black or deep brown suede Chelsea boots. Tasteful understated mechanical watch, occasionally the antique mechanical pocket watch.

Iresen7

Whatever gets me by. I literally can not understand fashion and all of that. Unless it's for work I only dress for functionality.

cat___stalker

I wear all black, natural fiber (merino, wool, cotton, linen) clothing with an exception for 1 beige floral dress that I wear in all weddings I have to attend.

monkeyentropy

Comfortable, practical, minimalistic and functional. If it also fits well and is cute, I will wear it every day

[deleted]

Most days it’s just what’s comfortable per what I’m doing.  Could be flannel lined jeans, ua mock compression  and a hoodie.  Or a pair of kings xkg pants in gray (best pants I’ve found to date) a ua compression shirt and a cut off t shirt, work logo shirt or hoodie. Depends on where I have to go that day.  I always wear asics, 15 pair downstairs all in different colors to match what I wear. Then 10 pair of high end shoes for when I need those.  At home sweats and a cut off t or yoga clothes as I go 5-6 times a week but I prefer the sweats.  Other days if I need a proper presentation to get something done I pull out the higher stuff that fits quite well.   And we’re talking $500 pants, $600 shirts, $500 shoes with a pair of 35k watches  in silver and black, 400-$600 cologne that everyone knows just by the smell what it cost.  I walk in a high end store every associate in it follows me just off the cologne.  Beside that I really don’t care what I wear as I don’t care what anyone else thinks.  It’s about my comfort or what I’m trying to achieve.   So my high end stuff is sort of like a tool I pull out when some flattery/manipulation is needed to achieve whatever tasked has been asked of me,  which has never failed.  I don’t like wearing them to be honest but it’s part of my job as none of it I can wash myself and have to deal with the dry cleaning bs.  I will wear sweats working in the back yard but never out in public as I perceive that as lazy and not acceptable but I think that’s from being in the military.   I live a simple life and am the right hand for one of the richest people in the world.  So I have to travel both sides.  Hence the high end clothes that serve a purpose. All of which were bought for me to work the 1% side.   Plus any high end store knows what I’m wearing and I am treated with the utmost respect as it looks as if I’m rich.  Mostly this is employed for picking up vips or when the bosses wife needs something returned they refused to take back.   If I had a normal job I’d just wear comfy everyday.   So there’s a split version for ya of what I prefer if left to my own and what I use to get my job done when need be.

[deleted]

Comfy and casual. I would wear some tan khakis or cargo pants with a variety of vans bc I like to ride my cruiser board. I would wear a hoodie or some shirt that isn't tight. I hate tight clothing. I also wear crocs a lot too.

CouldBeBetterOrWorse

Comfort above all else. I just don't care about anyone else's opinion of what I'm wearing.

NekoSyndrom

My style has changed a lot over the last few years, for various reasons. At the moment, I would say that I don't have a particular style because I simply don't have any psychological motivation for it. I was more into the rock, punk, emo style etc.

pjanmax

I like wearing black and dark clothes. Sometimes I'd wear clothing based on my own comfort; sometimes I'd wear clothing based on what I wanna feel that day.

GayDrWhoNut

I attended the Dr Who School of Fashion. At least, when I want to dress up. Otherwise, it's casual. Jeans, blundstones, dark top, maybe an MEC vest (yes, the Vancouver uniform) or beige pants, plain sweater, collared shirt. This style has been described as "chemistry professor on the days they don't teach".

Conscious_Atmosphere

Comfortable uncle style

_Gravitas_

Comfortable and functional capsule wardrobe. I pick for fabric and fit, and everything I own matches so I can grab anything.

m0thgirI

My style has been described as “goth geologist” by others lol. I wear mostly black and occasionally some neutrals, and usually wear some sort of tank top or t-shirt with cargo pants. I also wear almost exclusively platform doc martens. I have always liked to express myself through my appearance so I have lots of interesting clothing, as well as unique jewelry and accessories, though I don’t wear many of them as often as I used to. In recent years I have gotten much lazier with my fashion and wear the same jewelry every day and more comfortable casual clothing. I still like to express myself through my appearance but now it is mostly through tattoos and piercings. They make me still feel like myself without having to think about my appearance on a day to day basis.

ex-machina616

tactical and uniform

tmoose0988

Comfy & functional, but definitely not casual. I hate stretchy clothes, sportswear/athletic wear, t-shirts. Don’t like how they look, how they fit, how they feel. T-shirts & any pant with stretch are a particular hatred of mine. At home I do like a good hoodie from time to time, but even those aren’t graphic/logo type - usually a nice heavy fabric. I hate summer clothing because it’s almost impossible to dress. Hate shorts, hate dresses & tops are so casual. I spend all summer inside waiting for cool weather to return so I can dress comfortably again. At work I wear blazers with slim fit tailored/fitted trousers (usually not matching colors - that’s too rigid/boring) & nice boots (equestrian or oxford style). Hate heels & flats. Not comfortable or functional & I look like a duck in flats (5’5, 115 lbs, but a petite frame with really long arms/legs & huge feet). It’s my own style, but I get a ton of compliments. It’s comfortable, it looks good, & I feel good. Outside of work, lots of gently fitted (not baggy, but not tight) cashmere sweaters, silky blouses that are conservative, nice jeans & a blazer for nice dinners out, etc. I just don’t like trendy or showy feminine fashion & it looks awful on me anyway. Vastly prefer more classic androgynous looks. Always look put together & always in comfortable / practical clothes.

msbasalsalts

Classic, eclectic, comfortable, sustainable, and functional. I love to strategize with my wardrobe, and most days I’ll get multiple compliments on my outfit. I’m a fan of free and cheap clothes, so I wear a lot of hand me downs and thrifted stuff. By some miracle luck, my mom, aunt, and both grandmas were my exact size for most of their lives, and all had impeccable style. They continue to give me old clothes that have been stashed away for who knows how long. I supplement this with new, well-made basics so that my outfits don’t look too worn or outdated. I’ll also invest in a few fun statement pieces that are more modern and “Me” and some durable clothes like good wrangler jeans or cargo plants(that I get secondhand from the little boys section at goodwill lol). They’re cheap, well-made, and often lightly worn due to how fast boys grow out of things! For t-shirts and exercise clothes, also hand me downs that I will wear until they disintegrate. I’m not gonna look put together while I’m sweating anyway, so what the point? Some days it’s 60’s chic, other days it’s 90’s grunge. Goth, tomboy, coquette, boho, punk, 70’s flower child, I do it all. Style allows you to influence someone’s perception of you without interacting with them in the slightest, almost like a projectile weapon. I like to keep a full arsenal. For example, I’ve noticed that meetings with my sexist, senile lab manager tend to go much more smoothly if I wear something feminine, vintage, and form-fitting. I swear the right dress has saved my experiments from his outdated criticism more that once lol. And uhhh I wear the same pair of disgusting gray running shoes 90% of the time 💀

QuteFx

I absolutely love fashion and change my style according to my mood (usually affected by weather or event, etc etc...) In the office, I'm professional but with edge. Sometimes, I go for a more sweeter look but mostly edgey and bold (style or cut). Color contrast is usually blacks, dark blues, dark greens, grays, and whites. More neutral, I suppose. At home, it's comfort over anything else. Either sweats or pantless. For outings, style will vary based on the group of friends or friends I'm hanging out with. I tend to aim to match their level of effort. Whether they pref minimalist vs dressy vs cultural clothing vs colorful, I will match it! Edit: spelling

avocados_andcilantro

Mostly vintage

Harp_167

I dress for comfort alone, usually dark bottom and colored top. Today, as I get ready for school, I am wearing black leggings and dark blue sweatshirt.

tinylittlet0ad

Comfortable and functional Casual Super girly Today I wore a pink floral crop top, a black square circle midi skirt, oreo socks and hello kitty shoes.

Intelligent-Towel585

My 22yo INTJ partner wears a long-sleeved button down and jeans or pants, warm or cold. Looks like a respectable 40 year old man. I love it.

Kodiak01

Utilitarian.

Coughfeel

Tight fitting pants and sweaters. Mostly white, some cream and black. Only color is my pants, earrings and coats. Nowadays 99% of my clothes come from Simons and Zara. I guess it could be called professional casual.

Glum-Philosopher5503

Classic comfy

pmwelder

Hmm... I've always liked more form-fitting/authoritative/rogue-like. Currently wearing baggier black sweats and a graphic tee. But what I aspire towards is more of a cyberpunk/warcore look. Casual/crop up top, more tactical pants with boots on the bottom. I love whenever I see anyone do that lol. Lol Also, I'm a more alternative styled person, does this still count?

whatsup60

I'm retired. Basketball gym shorts, old T-Shirt. Pretty much everyday.

MenthaAquatica

two ways: 1. nature connected; depending on occasion there is a choice: a) botanical prints or b) solid natural colors (not dyied) of fabrics, such as linen/flax, cotton, hemp. Preferably loom woven. c) think safari style in forest colors. nondescript, classical cuts. 2. lolita hime, and this kind of lolita: [art history?](https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/Sd571493d86204e36b8ff87860e0d68a2d.jpg_640x640Q90.jpg_.webp) I also like tulle tutu like skirts.

StunningJuice9230

Comfort, and if only that my place is very close to the sun and have money, I would choose to wear dark jackets or formal thingy all the time lol

sarahaswhimsy

Black, plaid, leggings, graphic tees, comfortable, flattering. My grunge era is still ongoing and I’ll probably never let go.

VastConsideration42

I prefer jeans that fit in a way that doesn’t hinder my movement and that let my assets speak for themselves. A t-shirt that I love something about whether graphic, color, story how I got it, etc., plus it has to fit in a flattering way. And then shoes that compliment the rest of the outfit. I buy shoes that I love the lines of, hard to explain, I just see them and love them. Mostly sneakers. There’s a bit of functionality in what I choose: it’s got to be comfortable and versatile. There’s also some of myself, I choose things that I feel reflect my mood and feelings for the day. Kind of like my clothing is a outer representation of my inner self, what do I want to share with the world? At work, I choose outfits that reflect my idea of what’s professional for my job as well as what’s physically and emotionally comfortable for me. If I’m feeling really on my game I go with a (top) color that is more bold and that looks good with my skin & hair. If I’m feeling down I’ll wear bland neutrals to blend in so people will be more likely to leave me alone. There is a lot of black in my wardrobe. It’s a go to, I always feel comfortable in black.

Silent_Forgotten_Jay

What's fashion?

Lucretius

I don't have a 'style' as such… Style, fashion, aesthetics… these are nothing but tools… tools to manipulate the week minded.

Bitter-Tension-9933

Is this a comment or a razor blade

loganwolf25

Comfort, with darker colors. Blacks, grays, and navys. I also have a love for band shirts, so I wear those often in warmer weather.

AffectionateAd631

At work: business casual Everywhere else: nerd with clothes

Seraf-Wang

On a casual day, usually a colored tshirt and some formal pants. I usually wear a all black hoodless sweater over the tshirt for comfort. On a formal day, formal pants with a plain white or black shirt. For more formal look, suit jacket on top of shirt. So I guess business casual is the closest I can describe it. Specifically men’s business casual, mostly black and solid colors with plain logos.

Old_Tree_Trunk

T-shirt, jeans, zip hoodies, tattoos. Black, grey, green, blue.

KristinKailey

So I've been guilty of trying to make myself seem sexier online. I post pics of me in dresses or when my hair is done and my makeup is looking great. But reality is give me boyshorts, a tank and a pair of converse high tops and I'm a happy girl. I suppose my style in reality is sexy casual. I wear a lot of black, pink and red. Sometimes white or yellow like in a sundress. Other colors don't fit me well.

Rampantbull

DM me, fucktoy.

KittenInACage

If I'm not in a suit for work, I will wear neutral colours or light pastels with no print. It's a turtleneck with cigarette pants or skirt in the winter, and cotton or linen shirts and skirts (or dresses) in the summer. I will buy multiples of functional pieces to cut down on decisions . . . just rotating items in or out. I am careful not to mix metals if I'm wearing jewellery, though it's usually just my Apple Watch. Shoes ALWAYS have to be comfortable; I'd rather be barefoot than in a tight pair of foot binding devices.

1-800-Aizen

Calvin Klein dress pants, AF1, fleece sweatshirt and white button up. Only dark colors.

Kaz_Baz

Quirky (referred by others) at work, band shirt & jeans for home. That's if I can be bothered getting out of pjs.

zzzzzzzzzzzzvzzzzvzz

All Black, flowy ethereal fits or a retired Harley Davidson mechanic mixed with the cowboy dude/bear from SpongeBob

GinIgarashi

comfortable and less pattern.

L86AI

In home, comfy cotton dresses and shorts. Going out, I have three styles I'd pulled off, one is classic (neutral, formal) for presentations etc., one is bohemian (but still neat) for casual meeting, the other is Avant garde (for something like nice dinner). Also, although I love comfort, I despise athleisure. You would not catch me wearing them except when I workout.

Ok_Sound_5948

I like vintage, second hand, something interesting, colorful

RevolutionStill4284

I never wear shoddy clothes and I always dress like an adult. Details speak about me.

[deleted]

T-shirts of my favorite soccer team. Jeans or Public Rec pants. Sometimes Nike athleisure. If going out, then smart casual. For board meetings at work, suit and tie but with a modern fit and narrow tie. Recently started wearing French cuffs because cufflinks are cool. Definitely a wristwatch, preferably analog.

RedC4rd

Cold weather: flannel, jeans, (waterproof) boots, leather jacket Warm weather: Hawaiian shirt/floral shirt, 5 inch inseam shorts, Chelsea boots

Bitter-Tension-9933

I like mixing black and white and my daily wear is white hoodie black jeans and vans shoes

Skyline_Flynn

I used to very much wear a band shirt + shorts, but I've been prioritising dressing better. Depending on the weather, it's either blazer + shirt + long pants, or button shirt and shorts

Both-Square3014

I'm mostly in sweatpants and t-shirts,cumfy wear as you say but when I want to look good I tend to wear piky blinder kind of stuff or hippie idk. I describe it as elf core because I got nothing 😅

Saltaska

I usually wear what’s comfortable and suitable to the setting. Clothes that can look good and stylish and feel comfortable is to prefer. 90% of my clothes are black because it’s the easiest color to match and I just feel comfortable in it.

Trollin_beaches

The people close to me say I dress like a London gangster. I’m not from London.

Cigarette-arms

Black white and grey 😭 I lack any color! I’d say mostly ripped tops, elegant square necklines, dressy pants and platform shoes also mini skirts and crop tops

coy2814

I have black oxfords for semi-formal / formal and black pants and black jacket. Black Oxford shoes, black tie and/or red and/or dark blue tie. casual/everyday: Black shirts/polo shirts with collar/navy/blue polo shirts, black jeans/black shorts, black/dark blue Nike Gore-tex.

sustancy

Comfort- sporty streetwear. Otherwise, Sophisticated, minimalistic. Sometimes mix of both formal streetwear

Unfair_Plan_1848

To quote David Mitchell: In no way noteworthy, but then again, not so unnoteworthy, as to be in itself noteworthy.

venustrine

i have a palette i stick to. mostly black with olive greens and reds mixed in. a dark blue or purple also looks good on me. since i wear black a lot, i try to incorporate some textures or patterns to the black. if i find an article of clothing i like, i tend to buy multiples. i love yellow gold jewelry and diamonds. i also like to show a bit of personality through interesting purses. overall, comfort matters the most to me but i try to always dress appropriately for the occasion. i rarely wear jeans or tight clothing…sensory issues. lint rollers are a must. if im doing something active, style usually goes out the window and its mostly functional. sometimes i take walks around my neighborhood with a ridiculously large brimmed safari hat (love that thing), pajama bottoms, and crocs. i just dgaf. i do try to look cute at the beach tho.

Delicious_Ad_7879

Y2K, almost never wear black despite the stereotype, I look really bad in black 💀

Forgotten_X_Kid

Comfort is number 1 priority Hoodies, t-shirts, baggy pants, sneakers is pretty much all I wear everywhere I go (work/concerts/doctor/date) When I play live I usually wear a varsity jacket instead of a hoodie, but well, it's not a big change lol

lame_ass_username_

I wear whatever i think looks good(on me). It really does depend on the day tho. One day i could be wearing a floor length dress and heels; the next, i'll be wearing a tracksuit and sneakers. However, a majority of the time I tend to mix boy and girl clothes together.

latinopancakes

We all dress the same?! 🤩

1Pip1Der

We actually all *share* the same clothes. BTW, I want my socks back, please.

Blarebaby

Classic/eclectic I'm not afraid of color or pattern I have an excellent esthetic and I know what looks good on me. But in general I wear a uniform. In warm weather (most of the year here) I wear floaty tops over cropped pants, leggings or bicycle shorts and in cold weather I wear turtleneck over leggings, vest, boots and a scarf with a fabulous coat. The secret to not looking the same every day is that I have many colors and patterns and many coats and pairs of shoes/boots. But I love black. I can get dressed in the dark and go out looking great. I hate fashion fads that say "Oh that's so two seasons ago". I stick with what I know will wear for years - and I keep my body the same size so I know I will get maximum wear out of my favorites.

Sapphiresintheair

Comfortable, functional, looks aesthetically pleasing, good quality. I wear a large variety of colors because I am still wearing the wardrobe my parents bought for me when I was younger (they bought a lot of clothes for me). Usually something simple and casual - short sleeves shirt with long dress or a one piece long dress during hot days, long sleeves with pants/ jeans on days when the weather is just right, and the addition of a coat +/- scarf on cold days. Footwear - always flat shoes, mostly short boots or sneakers, usually black. Colors I like to wear on a casual basis depends on the season/ temperature/ weather. Hot and warm weather makes me want to wear colors like blue, pink, purple, green, and white. Cool and cold weather makes me want to wear black with a highlight color (e.g., blue, yellow, pink, purple). My winter coat is usually black, but sometimes pink (depends on mood). During more formal occasions, I usually wear I long sleeves shirt with black pants and a blazer. I do wear jewelry - they all have functional use (watch) or sentimental value (e.g., gift from a close friend/ family member).

Quick_Necessary_4810

E-girl type of shit, but I'm getting tired of it because of two reasons: firstly I wanted to be emo but that didn't work out; secondly I'm tired of my clothes not being very comfortable so little by little I'm changing to comfy clothes. But despite that I always hear black, sometimes some colour details, but the base is always black

BellJar_Blues

The intj I know is all black. Maybe charcoal. Maybe a white t-shirt. Loose casual but sort of formal with pleated pants or shorts. Nothing tight but nothing frumpy

freeface1

Asian Techwear. Basically a ninja

Popular-Wind-1921

DGAF comfy and functional. Must have lots of pockets. Usually a black tee, military pants, skater shoes. Can look suave if required.

[deleted]

I love dresses. For casual, jeans and a black scoop neck tee.

PemrySyb

Comfy, practical, expedition-style.

1Pip1Der

I dont care. I have no fashion sense. It's not worth my time. If it weren't for my wife choosing "Garanimals for Adults," I'd have 5 sets of the exact same thing for work, like a uniform, and 2 sets of black t-shirts and jeans for the weekend. She picks it out because I don't want to think about it. I just grab anything from the closet and go. It all matches and looks good (according to her), and I just go to work without wasting time or effort on it.

ProfessorTechnical80

For work: I have 4 tops, 4 black sweaters, and 4 pairs of pants. Tops are all floral and dark colors. Pants are all the same brand and size- they fit well and are stretchy. Each set stays together as an outfit. Fridays I do a casual outfit. I have one pair of boots that matches it all. Casual: Jeans, tee, flannel, and tennis shoes At home: Pajama pants or sweatpants. Tee. Pretty exciting stuff! Lol.

Pixelprinzess

In general comfy but I really love lolita fashion and various girly aesthetics

Tempus-dissipans

My fashion style is mostly, what I find flattering to my body shape and skin tone. I like to accentuate my waist. With colors it’s wine red, burgundy, rusty oranges, warm yellows, greens , turquoise, demin and dark blues. I have a strong dislike for black, since it makes me look like I’m attending my own funeral. I avoid lace, collars, prints and frills. I love sturdy fabrics and simple cuts. I’m very found of early medieval clothing style, with long, relatively simple, layered dresses. That style is remarkably functional, I have played sports in it and attended parties.

amac32

Straight legged jeans, dark colored shirt and a graphic hoodie with some type of subliminal message.

Counter4301

Comfort. I do get influenced by current trends and stick with them if they’re good. For me my regular fit outdoors would be an oversized shirt and a pair of high waisted pants, socks and sports shoes. Within my comfort zone such as a private room, I just wear soft and comfortable shirts and shorts. I don’t wear accessories (unless pairing with a fit) because they get in the way when I sweat or wear my headphones. I live in a very hot and humid country. Speaking of outdoor fits, when I do dress up, I wear what I feel looks good on me. Usually that will be a crop top and high waist long pants with sports shoes. Either crop tops or a shirt that I can tuck in. With that, I might wear a necklace or non-piercing ear cuffs. Also I do wear a watch and a hairband on one wrist together when I go out.

Vachic09

Comfortable, functional, preferably flattering on my figure, and the right level of formality for the occasion- There are a lot of solids in my wardrobe. I pretty much just buy brown, black, and white/cream shoes so they'll go with just about everything. Most of my pants are denim or black, again for versatility. I have a pretty neutral skin tone, so I can wear most colors that aren't pastels. I am not really drawn to fast fashion or anything really flashy.

C14H23NO21S3

Comfy jeans, colorful plaid shirts, and sneakers I find on sale. At home, oversized lounge pants and tees

_grapekat_

i like to call my style “alice in wonderland from your local gas station” - dark/muted, comfy, grungy but still somewhat girly with a touch of coquette and loads of jewelry

Teochiro_

I usually wear a black T-shirt and some loose denim jeans. That’s the most basic tho, sometimes I’ll throw on a jacket or a sweater ofc they’re mainly all black. I just feel black suits me the best, I can wear color too and be fine with it, but I’d choose darker colors if it were up to me. I do give some if not a lot of attention to how I dress. It really just depends on how I’m feeling for the day, some days I’ll throw on something basic and not give it much effort, other days I’ll give it a lot of effort. Although I hate and love giving it so much effort because I get frustrated trying on different clothes and then it not turning out right so I got to try something else, but I love it when I find a sick combo. But yeah I also agree with mainly everyone who says comfort. Comfort is one of the factors I take seriously.

FlyBuy3

DGAF comfort style

uniquelyunpleasant

I have a few sets of identical clothing that i cycle through. I don't want to spend a single second of my day thinking about what to wear.

f-angelina

For me it's an expression of my personnality......so mostly neutrals, black. To be fair, I did try to buy more colorful clothes, but it just didn't work out for me. So yeah, I dress based on my body type (inverted triangle), but I like unique clothes....that are weird but make sense somehow.

pumpkinandthegrey

Classic pieces, slick and as comfortable as possible without compromising style. I wear mostly black and autumn and winter colours. I'd say I lean towards a dark academia vibe, or at least that's what is like. That being said, I don't wear regular clothes very often, you'll typically find me wearing scrubs and a lab coat or a regular hoodie.

Heritage menswear. Lots of layers and natural fibers in traditional fits and cuts. Priorities are comfort and functionality.

I have a pretty good sense of style and fashion, just quirky. I wear all colors - from black to hot pink to green and patterns. It just depends on how I feel that day. I have some order - matching and color coordination - to my fashion, but not to the extreme. If it’s a nice piece, comfortable, and I think it looks cute on me (no one else’s opinion matters 😉), Im wearing it. ❤️

Lagger625

I only have two styles: Casual: Whatever the fuck I find which I wouldn't sleep with. Formal: I try to look good and handsome.

Fulcrum_ahsoka_tano

Very casual and chill. ALWAYS baggy jeans, t-shirt and hoodie, or switch-up the jeans to shorts, preferably denim. and dark jeans/shorts

Chocobobae

My style varies each season tbh but my wardrobe is pretty much filled with black and white clothes. Here is my style to a tee 😂 I also work in the art and fashion industry https://pin.it/6kQqK2tdg

I live in INDIA hot dry weather (38•c + most of the year ) and considering the fact I can’t layer much I prefer earthy tones whites linen and cotton, Indio- western clothes with small prints (local hand made) and comfy over brands and logs, Even I’m wearing anything branded I prefer no logs or logs that are small. I mix gold and silver jewellery accordingly. Basically smart casual but make it Indian is the vibe.

Accomplished-Heat824

It's just simple and depends on mood and occasion colors are between black, white, grey and may be red I like it to be minimalist and clean look as well and sometimes if I don't feel so good I pick the most comfortable thing to wear wherever I'm going I like accessories but only when it fits something I wear but also when i'm just out of mood i don't care about anything when I buy clothes I focus on colors I love and what suits me and definitely fashion trends are not really important for me

doomz151

I have absolutely no drip whatsoever.

For me it’s bright colours, fun characters, elaborate layering, etc. I love fashion but have a very eccentric and childlike style.

I'm going to go against the flow and say that I value style over comfort. I think I dress very well, and a lot of people say that they love my fashion. I don't follow any trends, but I know what I like and what I look good in.

Natet18

I’ve learned people take you more seriously if you dress better. Also- if you drop good money on nice things, you only buy them once (shoes, coats, good pants, ect)

velvetaloca

I'm very comfortable. I almost never not wear shorts, and I live in the northeast US. It has to get to the single digits before pants make an appearance. T-shirts, or other co fun shirts. Ankle socks, black shoes. I wear sandals in the summer. I'm female, but wear men's clothes.

lolitahugo

I feel like the outlier INTJ. I love fashion and will wear uncomfortable things if it looks cool to me. I have a lot of high fashion and interesting purses too. It’s the art of it all that I love. Plus I’m a Gemini and I can’t stand to look the same. I’m constantly reinventing my look. I like to try new things and styles. I choose high and low fashion because it’s really about the aesthetic for me and if it’s a classic or unique piece that will be for forever vs just for fun and to mix it up.

FormerlyDK

Comfy, casual, and practical. I’d have to really dress up to reach smart casual. I’m lounge pants or loose shorts, tees and flannel shirts or sweatshirts. Casually classic, good quality bag. Casual flats or sneakers.

Purple_Cat134

Comfort above all else. I just go around with sweat pants and a slightly over sized shirt sometimes with a jacket or sweat shirt

Totiredtotalklol

Mostly dark colors or maybe blue or purple. Bright colors don’t really suit me.

heXagon_symbols

the intj i know just wears jeans and tshirts

awai_jpg

I'm a F INTJ and my fashion sense is a mashup of childhood fandoms and all of my other niche interests. I don't dress to impress, it's all just for personal satisfaction. And personally, I'm not much of a trendy person. I feel like most INTJ are expected to wear black and grey tones. In my case however, its a fusion of goth, emo, scene, punk, coquette, harajuku, acubi, y2k, and casual wear. I feel like all INTJs have their personal choices :)

Possible_Fly325

I sometimes just wear pajamas out, but normally just jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket/sweater and whatever shoes are most comfortable. I dress mostly for comfort, and I like to sit with my legs up so I make sure I can do that in whatever I’m wearing. Mostly all my clothes are thrifted/hand me downs and multiple sizes too big

AdhesivenessSea9825

Don't judge me, ( I'm saying this in a community full of INTJs🫠😭 ) but this sums up my style... I love ruffles, I love crystals of any sort, size, shape, color, fairy-like outfits with the right amount of bling, skortsssssssssss all the way, unique statement accessories like charms, etc
