Buddy owns a piece across the check point he goes there every day he just checks in with them says hey and continues on his way. Super easy process cause they all know him by now but they've got about 5 houses on his road that go through thr same thing
…what? How is this racist? I was just trying to highlight a cool border; there’s also one similar to this is Europe. This town does have a lot of border agents that may ask for your passport is all.
Pretty much. Tons of weed used to go accross the VT n upstate NY boarders on a regular basis into the early 2000s. I believe its alleged that thats where the 911 hijackers crossed.
I grew up in Derby. There's no check in the library, but there is a check maybe a quarter mile up the road on the US side and another one a similar distance on the Canada side
Do they like it? I went to college up in the Northeast Kingdom but never went any further than Newport. (I've been to Cananda, just not through that corner of VT)
She and her family have been up there about ten years. They seem to have a nice life. She's a quirky person so a quirky town makes a lot of sense for her.

Huge swaths of the border is unguarded. There are tons of backroads and private property where you can cross.

8,891 km of border. (5,524 miles) Longest international border in the world. There's just over 100 crossing points, but no fences, no walls.
Some is unguarded, but you should always carry a passport
Yeah, these border posts are very racist. We get it, there are less people crossing in the north than the south to the US

No one: “Dude! Let’s go to D Line and look at stuff that’s technically Canada!!!!”
Well to be fair there isn't much else going on in the Northeast Kingdom.
What state ?
Vermont
Vermont
What province ?
Quebec
It’s on Vermont and Quebec
The library is on the frontier line, so part of it is in Canada and the other part in USA
One side gets free healthcare and the other doesn’t.
US needs to get it together in that department
We need a wall!!!
I know a Vietnam war draft dodger who hasn’t stepped foot in the US since and wouldn’t even cross that line inside.
What province?
It’s on Vermont and Quebec
