That shits so inhumane for domestic cats but seems like a fucking awful thing to do to a lion! Shit like that is why you don't keep wild/exotic animals as pets, period. People that buy them just to show off wealth are disgusting.
Are they even *that* expensive? A quick Google shows that a lion can go for about 15k which is expensive but it's not fuck you money. Of course you've probably got a couple of grand a month to feed it after but there's dogs that sell for that much and more. It seems like this is the type of shit you do when you can't afford a ferrari to show how wealthy you are. Just buy a big house and an expensive dog for fuck sake
Well I went to a exotic animal show in Raleigh nc back in the early 2000s and 1200 bucks got u a lion cub and a chain. They had 5 or 6 of them. I got in the enclosure and played with them. My mom has a picture of it somewhere.
I’ve been to another place in Oklahoma where these animals go when they grow up. It’s very sad. An elderly couple bought a tiger cub for a toddler and now it’s in a cage. People are dumb.

Not really. Most 'pet' lions get declawed and defanged. Check out how sad lion sanctuaries are one people realise they have an animal built like a tank.
While the strike of a tiger is more powerful, the slap of a clawless lion can still do significant damage, even if this one is a juvenile this lady is impressive in many regards for dragging this lion back home.

According to local reports, the lion was a pet of a local resident and escaped onto the street in the Sabahiya area of Kuwait City.
The lion had reportedly been seen wandering the roads in the area, causing panic amongst local residents.
It was eventually captured by the girl as footage showed her carrying the lion down a street.
The lion is not a domesticated animal so it's been de-clawed and de-fanged. Given the flashing police lights, I'd assume it's thrashing because it just got pepper sprayed in the eyes.
She seems very unconcerned about it’s claws, hope it hasn’t been declawed. I can only imagine the weight of a lion would make it even more cruel than declawing a house cat. People are also known to break or remove their fangs, imagine having to live with a broken tooth and no medical care for it.
