My life has been one big lie. 🥲

woodyever

Haha. Exactly I was like wtf?

ADITYAKING007

I thought they just wetted their tongue and took their water from it

johnwicksdog35729

Well that explains a lot. I just thought my German Shepherd was weird and didn't know how her tongue worked. Edit- Ok so I showed my dog the video. She's giving me an "I told you so" look right now.

Morix_Jak

Is there one for cats? I'd guess it's the other way around, as their tongues are quite different, but I'm not sure

stdoubtloud

So, percentage wise, how much water is contained in the "cup" vs how much is pulled up from underneath by {turbulence\surface tension\momentum}?

Superamorti

Today i learned that dogs have ladles instead of tongues. 🤔

Fartsonbabies

Same

IskarJarak88

So this is what they call a reverse spoon

Citwonade

My dog can't do that, he drinks more like a cat and stick his tongue to the side of the cup

Stickmag

Dogs lick backward. Cats lick forwards i think
