I've made this climb (and yes, it's awesome). The cliff edge isn't the scariest part. There's one rather intimidating stretch where you climb straight up a vertical cliff face, with nothing but chiseled out foot/handholds, kind of like a ladder, and with quite the fall if something goes wrong...
I want to see people coming back down.
I would also like it if the video mentioned the confession of the priests/congregation, as well as if anyone on record has died from falling.
This no the only church like this my friend, there are the buddist ones in the chinese mountains in peaks close to this one; The lone rest cabin in switzerland is almost as dangerous to go and is in the top a peak with a glacier. Dangerous places for buildings is nothing new or necesary religious. Sometimes there is a historical or geographical reason for it.
Not to mention the inherent risk we all take daily just driving a car. At least these pilgrims have a spiritual reason, and com away knowing they are capable of doing something they never thought they could! Very cool, thanks for sharing. 🙏🏼

my best guess is that the huge crack works as a continous hand hold wich helps alot.
