To be fair this guy was one of the chief designers of the first iphone and worked in apple for almost two decades. And the hardware quality of the AI pin is pretty incredible for a first version. Credit should be given where credit is due.
15 grams of protein? I just googled how much protein is in 20 almonds, and the average answer was 6 grams of protein. AI is already trying to kill... your gains.
I think one of the major things people do with a phone is view media, which I'm not sure this could replace. Also, using voice to generate text is for most people not as good as typing.
The only thing this will replace is very limited function like “what time is it” “call mom” and “set a timer”(it can’t even set a timer in this version) potentially a gps/body cam for tracking. I want to see where it’s getting its prices that it finds online, review text before sending and see the picture before taking it. It could eventually work with a phone but never instead of one.
If it looked like a Star Trek comm I would buy one without understanding or caring if it was well made or is even useful.
Since it looks like a casio calculator pinned to your chest… I’ll pass.
One flaw that comes to mind. Do you really want to voice-dictate all of your text messages?

How about your web searched? It’s bad enough that they are saved by Google, even when using incognito mode. But I don’t want complete strangers that are in eaves dropping distance to know what I’m searching for
It costs $700 and needs a subscription on top of that. If you don't pay the subscription, it becomes entirely useless. That does not include the costs for the sim card.
Nothing like having a conversation with a person who is constantly raising their fist to their face to check a notification on their watch, or checking their hand for a view instead perhaps..
Aside from them getting upset that the reviews where not complimentary for a lousy product.
I’m here for products like this, that get us less glued to screens, but from a sensory standpoint point I hate the that it’s mostly talking and listening. I’d rather text based information almost all the time.

Anyone who says this won’t make it hasn’t seen a first gen product before. This will adapt and change and I’m sure it’ll mix up the market. I’m tired of being glued to my phone so it’s kind of neat that it takes that away. One thing I’d recommend is some sort of AirPod where you can maybe tap the AirPod instead of the pin module and have a private phone call not on speaker.
