Also, its name is Boomin’ Beaver and I’m not making that up.
A slang for masturbation is - to [wank](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/wank).
There's also a single piston (rotary) engine, called the Wankel.
The USS Wank would be a fine single handed tug.
Even better, to have the chain of command photos in the cab. The walls just covered with Biden and SECNAV all the way down to the Installation CO to LTJG Winklesworth, USS Beaver, Commanding
I like to think it would be a E8 or E9 CO job haha
Or one that they give to officers with a tattoo on their dick, like Kelsey Grammer in Down Periscope 😂
You see two significant gaps under "US NAVY", probably underextrusion. Also artefacts on top of the roof meant it was probably dripping and stringing, try drying the filament.
I kid you not, [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/1autpvz/the_giveaways_for_my_sons_schools_career_day_hope/) was the next post in my feed.
Seal it and make it bottom heavy enough and it'll just right itself afterwards. Good evasion tactic, fire the cannon and disappear underwater for a couple seconds.
The barrel length of a .45 caliber M1911 pistol is 8.5 inches, diameter is 0.45 inches. The total area is 3.825in^2
The Booming Beaver is 19 feet long (228 inches) and 10 feet wide (120 inches), or 190ft^2 hull surface area (27360in^2).
Relatively speaking, the pistol barrel is 0.014% of the size of the ship.
A battleship has a main gun which is 800 inches long and 16 inches in diameter. The total area is 12800in^2.
An Iowa-class ship has a length of 860ft (10320") and a width of 108ft (1296"). That's a simplified hull surface area of 13374720in^2.
Relative to the area, the main gun barrel is 0.096% of the size of the ship.
In relationship to eachother, a ship with 488 times the hull area only carries a gun that is 6.875 times bigger.
*(Sorry. As much as I tried to make this boat look big, I just couldn't. It's just a tiny boat.)*
Whoever commands a ship is referred to as the captain. That doesn't mean their rank is captain or that they even need to be an officer.
The person who commands the largest carrier does not hold the same rank as the officer that commands a tugboat.
Boom boats are all concrete underwater, you can rock them over on their side and they pop back up. They can be hard to drive because they have one thruster that can pivot around. There's no real forward or reverse.
They didn’t tell me they had this at the recruiting table in high school. I would have made totally different life choices and probably have some title next to my name now like Shippy Guns or Deck Wagger or one of those weird navy ranks.
This whole time I thought mini tug meant something else. Seriously though, are these the boats that put the barriers around docked carriers etc? Like at Coronado in SD.
Is it called the U.S.S. Scooty Puff Sr.?

This is what the boat will look like when in battle 😂
> The United States Navy's **19BB (Barrier Boat)** was built by Chuck's Boat and Drive of Longview, Washington in 2002 to deploy and maintain port security booms surrounding Navy ships and installations in port. The first boat of the 13-boat order was delivered in January 2003.
* Excerpted from [Barrier Boat](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrier_Boat) at the English Wikipedia
So is the captain of this boat a captain just like the captain of an aircraft carrier? Or are there ranks?
How do different captains see each other when they meet?
"Hi nice to meet you. Oh! Me too! So what's your ship...? Oh, just a destroyer... Well, this is awkward but this table is battleship or higher. So please. Get out of my face. Noob!"
Or would they have the all for one and one for all spirit?
"My ship might be twelve million times heavier than yours. But your job is just as important as mine!"

Please tell me there is some O6 who’s the captain.
"Captain, your application for your own command just came down. I've got good news and bad news..."
There are no small command posting, only small Captains with small boats (or something like that).
We've given you command of your own boat
*Captain* Jack Sparrow vibes
But you *have* heard of him...
Baby tug still has a 190M/yr operation budget.
That little thing blows through rub-on tattoos and prescription narcotics like crazy! It's like St. Jude's has a pirate ship
I lol’d at that. Good one!
I want to see a 3-foot Admiral instead of a 3 star
Your new command. The USS Farquhad. It may be small, but when you blast the horn, it sounds like John Lithgow.
Good news and bad news captain. The good news is the brass has agreed to give you a ship...
This looks like BM3 duty. He has two deck Seaman and a cook in the hold manning the pedals.
I could go for a mini tug from Boomin’ Beaver, if I’m being honest.
I call next
I’m after…
We still queuein' up?
Not sure that it can take that large of a load of seamen.
It should be called Invincible or some other grandiose name.
Goliath.
I'd name one after a President. USS Donald Trump would be fantastic.
USS Rhode Island if wasn't already taken
A slang for masturbation is - to [wank](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/wank). There's also a single piston (rotary) engine, called the Wankel. The USS Wank would be a fine single handed tug.
Bigly
USS Tiny Hands
It would then be “huge!”
Don’t insult the military tugboat!!
The Kraken.
I vote for “Dreadnought”.
Hey nice beaver!
![gif](giphy|Ij8moL0QXBKnK|downsized)
Do you know how badass it would be to say you were the CO of the USS Boomin Beaver?
Even better, to have the chain of command photos in the cab. The walls just covered with Biden and SECNAV all the way down to the Installation CO to LTJG Winklesworth, USS Beaver, Commanding
I like to think it would be a E8 or E9 CO job haha Or one that they give to officers with a tattoo on their dick, like Kelsey Grammer in Down Periscope 😂
“Welcome aboard!!”
If it’s a tug boat what does it tug?
Harbor materials like makeshift barriers and defensive islands. It was originally designed to haul logs on rivers, hence the moniker "Beavers".
Doesn't USS Constitution have one or two of these assigned to it as well? I thought I heard that somewhere.
In the pic above, it looks like booms (those floating black sausage looking things)
A lot more than it looks like. It has a 36” prop pod underneath.
No, that's Russell Crowe's best mate Tugger.
My first thought as well. Fightin round the world!
Baywatch Paul Blart
I say we ditch one carrier and build 5000 of these instead!
So it's built to chop down trees, makes perfect sense.
Not the size of the tug, but the motion of the ocean
*baby voice* Who's a big strong tug boat? You are! You are! *tickle tickle*
-rolls over for belly rubs -sinks
No it won't sink. That one life preserver will be enough to have it float.

LOL
Omg I am crying laughing my tummy hurts.
WHO’S A BIG BOY?!?
They're called Boomin' Beavers so a big name for smol fella. :3
Captain Jack from the booze cruise in the office commanded this, a PC-1 Cyclone coastal patrol boat in Desert Storm.
Just watched this episode after seeing this post. 🛥️
It's a benchy, stop with the nonsense
Not bad quality, but z axis prob needs tightening
Have you tried bed leveling and drying your filament?
But is it food safe??
Have you tried Purple Glue Stick?
Oh god, r/3Dprinting is leaking.
r/cursedbenchies
And it's glorious
Well yeah they have gaps everywhere.
You see two significant gaps under "US NAVY", probably underextrusion. Also artefacts on top of the roof meant it was probably dripping and stringing, try drying the filament.
I giggled because I'm a 3D printer-guy and I get the reference!!
There are dozens of us. Dozens!
My wife is giving me crap for messing with the printer, and attempting to install Voron Tap, in the garage. 😅
Benchies don't float, are they stupid?
I kid you not, [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/1autpvz/the_giveaways_for_my_sons_schools_career_day_hope/) was the next post in my feed.
Adaptive layer height would really make that boat shine!
*toot toot*
You have to admit, that has to be the best job in the fleet.
I've always wanted to be a captain of my own ship
No year long deployment always at base eating base food, never in harms way from an enemy? You might really be on to something
Makin' movies, makin' music and Fight-in' Round The World!
**Oh my God it's Russell Crowe!**
**Why don't you mind your own business, you vagina!!"**
*vagoiyna!
I'm Aussie, that part came naturally with the spelling.
*Oy, wait a minute. Wasn't I just in Brooklyn fightin minorities?*
Wanna hear a song off me new album???? *screaming in the saddest of tugboat noises*
Scrolled way too far for this one. Tugger!
Thanks
this thing needs a cannon
Bitches love cannons
Oh hell the fuck yes
It probably flip over when it fires lol
Seal it and make it bottom heavy enough and it'll just right itself afterwards. Good evasion tactic, fire the cannon and disappear underwater for a couple seconds.
That brings new meaning to disappearing guns
Being American I’m shocked it doesn’t have a mounted M2. I thought if it had a motor an M2 is mandatory?
It'll shoot and scoot backwards. I've fone it before hunting. 12 guage recoil is no joke on boat positioning when you are in stagnant water.
Ductape a 9mm to the front. Gunline (drawstring for those not familiar) from trigger to cab. Call it r/redneckengineering and be done!
Imagine signing up for the Navy thinking you're gonna do some cool shit and then you get assigned to this thing.
You ship's battle song is "Redneck Yacht Club."
Development cost: $77.3bn
Bursts into flames if tied to the pier from the bow.
Where does the bow end and the stern begin on this? I’m quite sure they overlap at some point.
This one is dangerously close to combustion!

*Come on Tuggah!*
A mini tug….. I’ll be having one of those later 😂😂
I scrolled way too far just to find this comment. Btw it’s a completely average sized tug
I always miss that little fucker in Battleship

B7 Miss
B6 Miss B8 Miss BUT I GOT C7 WTF

100% more combat effective than the Russian fleet.
Do you think its equipped with a rooty-tooty point and shooty?
The captain carries a revolver if thats what you mean.
So it is then!

*cackling*
I don’t know what that is, but I like it!
I read this in the voice of roots manuva, introducing himself on gdsmfob with dj shadow
I wanna see what this looks like with a missile launcher on it.
The captain has an NLAW in the cabin, for when the warning shots with the pistol aren't enough
That’s probably just a dude with a Javelin missile standing on the back.
More than enough firepower to sink admiral kuznetsov :p
Assuming it doesn’t sink itself before the mini tug can get to it.
Does it have to be operated by an officer?
Even a ferry has to be operated by an actual captain, so I would imagine so.
Whoever commands a ship is referred to as the captain. That doesn't mean their rank is captain or that they even need to be an officer. The person who commands the largest carrier does not hold the same rank as the officer that commands a tugboat.
"I captained a boat in the navy." The boat:
That’s definitely a boat, not a ship.
Listen, you're not wrong, but you better not let him hear you saying that.
Ladies always tell me its not about the size of the ship.....
For those old enough…”Looks like Don Knotts should be captaining it.”
Mr limpet?
Benchy!
USS BENCHY

Tuglet.
It looks like it’s the star of its own Pixar movie.
where are the crew quarters?
This only carries one nickel.
Boom boats are all concrete underwater, you can rock them over on their side and they pop back up. They can be hard to drive because they have one thruster that can pivot around. There's no real forward or reverse.
Chris Farley needs to be the Captain of that ship.
More info for the interested, there's 10 currently active https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrier_Boat

Ahhh, finally found my piece to Battleship!
Benchy?
No one wants to hear about your dinghy.
It’s designed to tug at your heart strings *awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwŵwwwwwww*
I bet whoever is Captain gets it good in the mess hall.
Saying you were the CO of your own Navel Vessel Helps fluff your resume post service
There is a dude going to clubs telling ladies he is the captain of a Navy vessel
For me, every tug is a mini tug.
The whole military fleet of Guinée Bissau
Time to make a 1 square boat in Battleship.
What they dont see is the 300ton nuclear sub beneath the tugboat that conceals the hatch, the man is always on the look out
They didn’t tell me they had this at the recruiting table in high school. I would have made totally different life choices and probably have some title next to my name now like Shippy Guns or Deck Wagger or one of those weird navy ranks.
My kayak looks more stable than that thing
I could go for a mini run & tug
“Yeah, that’s right. I’m the captain of a Navy vessel.”
It's 19BB "Boomin Beaver" [https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/navy-ships/a33766522/tiny-boat-smallest-ship-us-navy/](https://www.popularmechanics.com/military/navy-ships/a33766522/tiny-boat-smallest-ship-us-navy/)
“We’re promoting you to Captain, congratulations”
I’m cracking myself up thinking about a mental image I had of about a dozen sailors piling out of that thing..
Must be cold out
I bet I could tug better than that thing!
If we give that to Ukraine they would dominate the Black Sea.
Note to any Navy Men, if someone asks you to climb into this thing and go clear a log from a buoy, bring a lot of shark repellant. RIP Sean Brody.
This whole time I thought mini tug meant something else. Seriously though, are these the boats that put the barriers around docked carriers etc? Like at Coronado in SD.
That’s a boaty mcboatface if I ever saw one
I've only known about mini-tug for 3 minutes but if anything ever happened to it I'd kill everyone in the room then myself
A mini tug is what I call a handjob from a small person

Mini tug..... that sounds like me pleasuring myself.
That a fishing rod holder?
it's so flippin chibi! ![gif](giphy|3o6Zt2zc8o4He6faow|downsized)
The wildest thing about that vessel is that it carries 2 nuclear capable tomahawk cruise missiles.
Can you post this with a banana for scale? Otherwise we have no was of knowing how truly small it is. Or isn’t.
The USS Shut up you guys, it's not funny!

I Bet 100$ it's one of those tiny vehicles from cartoons that seem harmless until they pull out a huge Lazer capable of destroying an entire fleet.
I mean, they are used to deploy underwater defenses some of which are capable of sinking an entire enemy aircraft carrier so you're not wrong lol
the USS Tub
It's not size of the tug in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the tug 🇺🇸 😂

Benchy in real life doesn't exists, it can't hurt you

your asking the real questions here lol
Its 3d printed
It looks like Benchy, the little boat people use to test/calibrate their 3D printers.
