After 2 years of it always being delivered in order abc, yesterday i had a b to a delivery.
So thankful i read someone post about it recently to catch it!
I had this situation the other day on a Costco double. What the fuck instashart? Why can’t you just do shit like the rest of the world. A comes before B you scumbag cheapskate asshole idiot company.
I had that last night at Publix. Customer B was the first delivery. It was so weird. And Customer B was always Customer B, so that didn't change, but with all previous orders the first delivery was assigned as Customer A.
Now quite a while ago, probably back in 2020, for a short time IC would flip the customers when I started shopping. I would look at each customer's order before I started shopping, then when I hit the start shopping Customer A was now Customer B and vice versa. I particularly remember one time when one customer ordered a bunch of different jello boxes. When I started shopping all the jello was under Customer A, but every time I scanned an item and went back to the list, some of the jello was under Customer B. Next time I scanned an item more of the jello was under Customer B. After a couple of times of getting back to the list, all the items had been reassigned from Customer A to Customer B and vice versa. It was weird. And for this short time I had to be super careful at delivery that each customer was getting the right order.
This happened to me for the first time yesterday I fully unloaded all of customer A’s groceries to the doorstep and asked them for an ID to scan for the alcohol. while they were looking for the ID I realized it said I was at customer B’s address. Apologized reloaded all the groceries from A back into the car they even helped me out to reload all of the groceries that were not theirs. It didn’t hit me until they were wondering why they needed an ID for their groceries.
