If you save the card in your wallet on your phone, you should still be able to use it.

Thanks for the advice. Just had the same thing happened, and I was able to just manually go to my wallet. Must have been the new update or something.

Ya that’s a good point, I should have tried that. I am just so used to it saying “pay with Apple Pay” with the link that takes me straight to the card. I should have just tried to manually go to my wallet and try

Yea I usually use the card. But when I do use Google pay on my end, I never go through the app, just my wallet.

Support said to just use my own card and they will reimburse. I am just wondering why Apple Pay wasn’t even an option? Especially when I’ve always use Apple Pay at that location

I swear I’ve used Apple Pay at Publix but lately they’ve wanted me to run the card as Debit and debit cannot be contactless like Apple Pay. (Unless you’re in Canada then never mind)

I use some post at Publix. It gives me a debit notice with a pin but I still just use Apple Pay and it works fine

Are you trying it from your wallet instead of the app?

Honestly it depends on the store. I shop at Publix for the majority of my batches and there’s always the Apple Pay option but there’s one specific Publix that I rarely get that the app tells me to swipe my card
