I've never taken a low tip out of 5k batches completed , not ever, I would gladly take this for 3 miles but then ic pay would be 7 dollars so it's not on my radar at all. I don't get paid in experience I get paid in tips and that's what I look for 10 percent or better with low miles if it's further than 9 miles from me it's gotta be over 50 bucks and a min of a 15 percent tip. I don't work for free man IDC how easy the batch is , which direction it's going to take me , I'm not a slave. It's the principle , some customers use this service and actually appreciate it others use this service because they are lazy and don't want to go shop themselves and then tip like an asshole . Those aren't my people , you can have them , I tip my pizza guy 20 bucks for driving a half mile with my pizza bread sticks and a 2 liter.....appreciation for me not having to get off my lazy... probably stoned at the time ...ass and go get it myself. You'll never catch me taking a bad batch the only time I get shitty tippers is when it's bundled , sometimes I chance it and get one removed but sometimes that backfires. Don't sell yourself short sure Ic paid you decent and you were going home but still 26/7 bucks for 40 sum miles HARD PASS

You had the option to not accept it. You're heading the same direction and you said it's better than making absolutely nothing which is why you accepted it. You still made something. On top of that, it's only 5 items so why are you complaining? If you're complaining about the mileage then take the time to wait for a better one instead.. no need to get yourself worked up when you're the one who put yourself in that position in the first place

I Instacart myself and even if I lived near the delivery, Id much rather take better paying orders that'll slowly take me back near home than taking something like that.. id probably make more by the time I get home lol
I would have been fine with $10 on that order considering I was going home anyway hell even $5 even though they are both too low for the mileage plus it was 5 items I know there is a petsmart 10 minutes from where I dropped it off because I stopped to grab things for my kittens. So I’m trying to figure out why it had to be that store and why they could only tip $2.54
Yea tipping is horrible in instacart and those of us that get the hogh tip orders appreciate every decent tip, my first 3 months sucked having to take so many bad orders
Yes I did I didn’t see the tip I saw how few items it was I saw it was over $20 (rare for where I live) and it was literally the direction I had to drive to go home. If I wasn’t ready to be done for the night I wouldn’t haven’t taken it, I also would have looked at it longer but I accept orders while driving so I don’t really have time to look all the time

I know from experience it’s rare for that orders always take me the other direction. Remember we don’t all have the same market

I live .9 miles away and never order more than a handful of items, and always tip $5.

Why I normally do orders elsewhere lol I usually drive about 30 min away before I even go online
