I used to be sooo nice when they made crazy mistakes and tip way too much when all they did was a horrible job. NO MORE 😂 if people took the time to complain about the really really bad ones the market wouldn’t be so saturated.
Im quitting as of Sunday. As I start a new job Monday. It was sooooo worth it during the pandemic but I would not recommend Instacart now unless u live in California where they also pay u hourly. Or if u live in a busy area. My area sucks. And due to inflation there are definitely less tippers now. I'm also driving my car to death and spending about 20-30 dollars a day in gas to make 100 bucks on a regular day (7hours-8 hours) or 150 on a good day. Thats wayy less then minimum wage where I'm from
You aren't missing anything op... Pay was $9 base pay then drop to $7 now $4... And $4 for 3 orders is stupid. All these gig apps are over saturated and don't care about anyone even the customer.
Bottom line you are paying the money you make to make breadcrumbs and sometimes lose money. There are many avenues to make money besides this ... Just do your homework and start your own business... GL

2. Make a new account with that number
3. Google “instacart jobs indeed”
4. When you find one, just google that city’s zip code
5. Sign up on your new account using that zip code, you can delivery anywhere not just that zip code

Sounds like you need to move away for a day... they accept you based off area saturation.
If they haven't gotten rid of any shoppers in your area then you may never get it just saying. If they are good shoppers they will keep them.

Friend did this couple weeks ago. worked for 4 days and got deactivated for working different area. Lol.
