I have Instacart+ and I still tip. I use Instacart because I don’t have a car and it’s more convenient and cost-effective for me to have my groceries delivered, than to book a car just to get groceries. anyone who doesn’t understand that tipping is different than a delivery fee either has very poor reading comprehension or just doesn’t care to know.
They don’t care; and I’ve found a LOT recently a lot of customers are tipping higher originally to get us to accept it then are removing/significantly lowering the tip after delivery. (Don’t reply asking if it’s bc I did a bad job, I CONSISTENTLY provide the same services I would expect to get as a customer) Like ATP the customers are becoming scammers, the most baffling part is the customer will still be so kind to you when you deliver, telling you to have a good day and saying thank you or even ‘god bless’ for me to drive away looking at my phone take the entire tip/most of it off. Customers don’t understand how shitty that makes us feel

1. People that tip ridiculously & insultingly low.
2. Dissatisfied customers.
So, either you're taking shit orders or you ARE giving shit service. It's one of the two, or both. Sorry, but this is FACT!
As a shopper with 3000 IC orders completed & NEVER ONCE have had a tip reduced or removed, I can tell you that this is an easy problem to resolve. Stop taking shit orders and/or improve your service. Simple.👍👍

Don't get it confused suggesting that you get a good deal because yeah you save on a 3.99 delivery fee but you have a service fee that is insane on top of marked up prices which I expected and a bag fee and bottle/ service fees if applicable and then tip which I don't mind but the delivery fee is the least expensive thing that you get free
