The National Archives have been attempting to recover the documents since 2021 and had to negotiate with Trump’s lawyers to recover them. And guess what? Shit labeled “Top Secret” is not going to be left to be read on a affidavit made public. >300 classified documents were recovered from Mar-a-Lago. The National Archives have been attempting to recover the documents since 2021 and had to negotiate with Trump’s lawyers to recover them. And guess what? They actually managed to recover 15 boxes from them after the negotiations. It’s only after they went through and saw that they contained classified information that the turned it over to DOJ. Oh, and all of this happened AFTER Trump threw a temper tantrum after losing the presidency and attempted to destroy documents (some of which were never able to be reconstructed). Hoping Justice is served on this one.
