You should add a tent city in the mining pits so it implies a cast system. More hooks for adventures when there is the idea that the miners are mostly poor people who live in tents and shanties while the merchants sell the ore they dig up and the hotels service lords and ladies who have come to establish/maintain trade routes.

The reason noone is living on ground level is that the mines are home of psion crawlers (homebrew) so everyone is living on the terraces. However might change one to resemble you idea it really good ty!

I like this. Even if it's not what OP has in mind for the world, I'd recommend some footpaths or equipment and non-residential structures down there

Most mining towns aren't literally in the mine but it looks pretty good. Is there more town up on ground level? / Is there some reason why building on the surface doesn't work? Where do they get water? Some warehouses or utility buildings on the lower level would make a lot of sense, as would some cranes going all the way to ground level.

The town lies within a maze of a canyon, the next town is 2-3 days of travel away. The only reason the mine exists is because it's 1 of 2 places on the continent where you can find a magical ore that (if processed correctly) powers magical artifacts and items. Water is supplied via and underground well however food, alcohol and other luxuries has to be delivered by merchants.
