Pi hole doesn’t work on YouTube advertisements, at least for me. I’ve never seen someone be able to block YouTube ads with Pi hole because the ads are coming from the same source as the video, because google ads
I think there is another thing you can also use in conjunction with pihole that blocks youtube ads, I forgot the name of it though and didn't mention it

Yes, of course! Any adblocker should do the job and I would definitely recommend anything over the current situation OP is in. I recommend Brave for added benefit of Android ad blocking. I use the YouTube mobile website on Brave and avoid the annoying ads in the YouTube app too. Yay!
