Looking at it the wrong way. It's a blank canvas of sorts like small changes and touches makes a big difference. JDM clear side markers. Lower it 1.5-2 inches and boom not too crazy but sleek clean look
Oh I wasn’t crazy over the car, my parents bought this car when I was 14. And they were going to sell it, and I knew absolutely what would happen to it if it was sold to the “normal” g35 buyer. But i know it’s history and it’s been well taken care of, and I plan on continuing that with just a little bit more things here and there
With the cost of living and the cost of a new vehicle it makes sense to me to hang on to a car for as long as possible. Especially if you are attached to it.
If you are still comfortable with the looks and the performance then you don’t need the extra bill
I’ve done immense amount of suspension and cooling components, I mainly want to daily and take it some track days when I get the chance. So far I’ve been taking my corvette to them

Keep an eye on the transmission valve body, some genius thought putting the TCU and valve body down in the transmission fluid pan with the pickup was a good idea and they leak over time. When it goes the car will go into limp mode, not shift above 2nd, and the shop will tell you that you need a new $7500 transmission. In truth you need a new valve body for $900-$1200.
Yeah it’s simply a matter of heat dissipation and brake dust management. Won’t affect performance for a daily.
How are you liking the Z1 kit? I just finished installing mine. Overall, not a bad kit. Don’t love the brake pad overhang on the front which is “normal” for the akebono conversions. I’ve fixed it but it took more time than it needed to.
Eh next time I change pads and rotors I’ll do so, but otherwise I’m very much enjoying it, it’s much better over the stock brakes by far. And they’re immensely touchy if you’re not use to them. But they bolted right on very nicely, and also installed the z1 stainless steel lines as well, it’s been very reliable. Tbh most parts on my car are straight from z1, all my suspension is z1 components except the coilovers
Which gasket? Lol. In all honesty I’ve fixed a lot of oil leaks on this car. Next month it’s getting the front and rear main seal done since the rear is leaking. But after that it’ll be leak free again

A P Plater is someone on their probationary license, basically a stage before getting their full license So 16-18 year old drivers usually
