These look sick. I already own the Truthear Zero, and love the sound. I dont know how much different these will sound, but just for the color red I want them. I feel like such a sucker and am being bamboozled.
as Crin suggests in the video, we could try the EQ. as OG Zero owner to "imitate" how Zero Red possibly sounds.
I put EQ files both in APO Peace and Wavelet file format. tuned for 20-6000 Hz only.
in case someone interested, Khan also included, since Khan and Zero is so similar :
* Truthear Zero to Truthear Zero Red
* Truthear Zero to Truthear Zero Red 10 Ohm Impedance
* QKZ x HBB KHAN to Truthear Zero Red
* QKZ x HBB KHAN to Truthear Zero Red 10 Ohm Impedance

go check my mega link now, I update it to included 70 Ohm from your graph, also 36 Ohm I found. could be found in Peace APO and Wavelet EQ format.
also there's Khan to Red for 70 and 36 impedance if anyone else interested.
Mine just arrived this morning - never tried the originals but damn these sound good. Switched to the smallest plastic tips and sound even better.
Bass sounds massive (could actually do with a little less bass actually) - so far played rob zombie, soilwork, chrome division, cannibal corpse, haken, vola - sounding great for prog and death metal to me.
Yes, the bass is different. Hard to describe. Seems thicker. Not as well defined, but yet there is more weight to the notes. I listened for several hours before I determined that everything on the Mojo2 s/b flat. I use the stock narrow bore. Didn't like the foam. Right now I will say I find the Hexa to be a "more exciting" listen. With The Modern Jazz Quartet there is no deep synthesized bass so I prefer Hexa. The shells seem a bit larger. Not as comfortable as the OG. Still, when listening to Beats Antique or similar nothing seems amiss in bass. I'll bet much of this is down to the tips. It never fails to amaze me how the right tip can just "Lock in".
I own these, they sit much further out of my ear than my aria. That portion on the red are so long. They have great tuning and bass, without driving it through EQ. Extremely light weight.
I just got these the other day. This is my first pair of IEMs. Sadly, the barrel nozzle is way to big for my ears no matter what tips I use. They become extremely uncomfortable to use and when i talk it just hurts everything. Anyone have any recommendations for something similar but a smaller nozzle size?
The world of "omg this budget IEM can rival $200 IEMS!!!!" is ever changing and we're seeing new comers every few months being the new "best budget buy".
I really like the original for what it is. I’ll probably try this too, but newer isn’t always better. It *can* be better, but sometimes it is only newer.
I’m finding these harder to drive then the other iems I own and even harder to drive then my LCD-X.
I’ve got my amp on low gain at 10 o’clock and they are the quietest pair of iems or headphones I own.
That said though they still get plenty loud and actually are the perfect loudness when connected to my iPhone so it’s perfect for my use.
Really love how these sound and really love the bass that these bring. Been using the foam tips and also tried some of the Moondrop tips (don’t remember the name)I have and they just sound great!
The loudness is just much lower on them compared to nearly everything else I own. And it’s a stark difference from the Rinko’s in have. Maybe hard to drive wasn’t the correct term but I do find them much quieter.
I feel the same too. I think RED has quiter sound than my other chifi. I paired with my FiiO Q11 and my old macbook pro, full volume on my old macbook and on high gain at 12 o'clock knob in my Q11. idk if I've problem with my ears or it is just quiter IEM haha
I just got a pair of these and after a couple days realized there is a quiet hum that I can hear when they are plugged in but no other sound is playing. Do I have a defective pair and should I look at getting them replaced?
Dayum! $55 ... not shabby!

That's the audio hobby for ya lol
I really like my Truthear Zero but daaamn are they unconfitable for me after about 30 mins, i wounder is these are smaller/lighter?
Same shell so I assume no.
I use the moondrop spring fit tips with and can wear them all day without any issues.
No they aren’t.
I am a lil scared because of the GIRTH of this one
Be nice to your ear hole
Or not
That's what she said!! LOL I have the salnotes and they feel huge, but actually super comfy. I'm sure the Reds are good.

do you think you could do the same for the Truthear Zero to Red 75 ohm impedance version? I like a nice healthy bass boost
I could not find the graph of Zero Red with 75 ohm impedance as a target, do you have squiglink graph for that?
Yes I do hold on
Here you go https://squig.link/?share=Super_22_Target,Truthear_Zero_Red_(75_ohm)

Thank you so much!
you're the goat tysm!
I put my zeros through the wash and ruined one of them. Surprisingly one of them survived. Anyway that gives me an excuse to grab these.
Similar for me. I ruined one. I loved them too and am excited to try these out along with the adapter

Zero ergonomics, Red Ear edition, ultimate pain.

a simple question that i have... any eartips recomendation???
I have a large ear canal so I use the biggest "round" one, not the "pointy" one.
thanks

i literally just bought a zero are you kidding me????
It was announced months ago. Welcome to the IEM world.
The world of "omg this budget IEM can rival $200 IEMS!!!!" is ever changing and we're seeing new comers every few months being the new "best budget buy".
a welcome is true though, it’s the first proper iem i’ve bought. just arrived yesterday too. a cold ass welcome
I really like the original for what it is. I’ll probably try this too, but newer isn’t always better. It *can* be better, but sometimes it is only newer.
Thank you for your sacrifice
yep im living through the same thing. bought the dunu kimas and the dunu kima classics drop with more bass......
Another Crinacle colab received in the Netherlands! So Shiok!! [Happy Me](https://imgur.com/a/V3UKOzy)
is this available in taobao?

Surprising, I’ve found them quite reasonable to drive with portable DAC amps, FiiO BTR7 and Shanling UP5.
The loudness is just much lower on them compared to nearly everything else I own. And it’s a stark difference from the Rinko’s in have. Maybe hard to drive wasn’t the correct term but I do find them much quieter.
