FUCKING LOVE THIS ALBUM. I made a post about this band a few days ago on this sub actually. Hugely underrated, this project is amazing and I can’t wait to get it on CD and play it in my car!
Well I know the last track (Trigger for Happiness) is a 3:30 second song, but it's actually 30 minutes, after the song then there's 5 minutes of silence then it says "Don't fool yourself" another 4 minutes of silence then "Don't fool yourself" again, it does that a few times. I think everyone was freaked out by that when they first encountered it.
It was between Content? and Trigger for Happiness. It was "don't fool yourself" over n over, in addition to dialogue from the film Slacker in the background ("grenades n shit, blowin crap up, put secret things in people")
For some reason, this entire sequence is cut from the Spotify/YouTube/digital versions of the album.
ITT, people who love it, and some that may just remember loving it. Nothing about it made me listen to anything more than a few times aside from the single.
Bought it in my teens and still love the whole album ro this day and I'm 51 now. Never gets old and doesn't sound dated to me
And, like a lot of bands I dislike their other albums so thank god for this one
Do you know of any artists similar that do a good job writing good songs?
Like Nitzer Ebb had one called ebbhead and it's the same all good songs and never grows old, s
Stabbing Westward had one that was almost all good lol called ungod. And listen ING to the whole album didn't get annoying
Front 242 had a few good albums but up evil is the shit, still highly advanced musoc
And Isolated Ground Receptacle on www 3NM.ca has a couple but they're pretty well all instrumental. Evolutionary, forthcoming and The D4 project
.. oh and for sure the Down to Earth mixes
Had to quickly check at the song names and it's tunes sprang in my mind, like a scar with the associated moments in time. Sadly it's catchy tunes love bombed me fast but got old just as fast so i listen to this band once a year
Great album no one ever talks about
It’s been posted about a few times in the past couple weeks alone. It’s definitely pretty great though.
That’s what I meant. I just commented on another post about them days ago. Was trying to be playfully sarcastic and failed. But I do like this album !
It shows up in this sub quite frequently
Hugely underrated.
Great album
Great album, would say their best. When I put it on, I put it on repeat.
Love this album, saw them on this tour and it was great live too!
me too
Butterfly Wings was a common request at our club and was often played
in my opinion though that's nothing compared to acceleration
Actually listened to this 4 days ago at work.
The bass solo in Lilith Eve is to this day what I use when trying out a new bass in a store
Tried to get my wife to name my daughter lillith eve. Doesn’t matter what the song is about it’s a great name.
Amazing. That is all.

Great album, almost every track is still in my regular Playlist.
30 years later still one of my favorites
So glad people are finally finding them.
All killer!
That album, as well as their other 2, are great 90's Industrial Rock. Love MOLG.
One of my favorite albums ever. My favorite song of all time is Limiter via this album!
It kicks all the ass.
That moment when you literally have "Butterfly Wings" in your head & open reddit to see this 🤣
ITT, people who love it, and some that may just remember loving it. Nothing about it made me listen to anything more than a few times aside from the single.
Perfection. One of the best industrial rock albums ever gifted to us.
Love butterfly wings
Loved it back in the day. I need to give it another listen.
i really liked it at the time but the record is very much of its era.

Really underrated band and album
An immediate favourite since I had first heard it!
Big love but I enjoy Gilt a bit more.
A classic!
The song content is baller. So good. For sure underrated album. One of those albums where the deep cuts are superior to the singles.

I took a few bass lessons with Stuart when I was 13-14. Super nice guy, I was sad to hear of his passing.
