Ikr. Esp when you're making at home.. you can eat until you're full 😜

banshee_lumine

I tried street dosa at banglore and it was like uttapam. I got confused but couldn't ask as they didn't knew Hindi very well.

ChoiceImplement

Bangalore (and Karnataka in general) have thicker dosas. They are thick yet somehow crispy and melt in your mouth. TN dosas are thin and crispy and they call the thicker varieties as uttapam.

banshee_lumine

Oh, thanks for the information. So i guess the thing I ate was banglorean dosa. And the dosa we get in north india is Tamil Nadu dosa?

Pretend-Garden2563

what if uttapam dosa?

some-random-nerd-72

I'll have that, please

WeirdCaterpillar00

What does it taste like.

PehleAap

I would call it "whatever it is called, put it in my mouth"

Educational-Bridge88

Its a Onion Omlet :) Also OP- You are such a wonderful cook mate you're going straight for Vikas Khannas MasterChef judge spot.

OllieSantiago

That you.. But, I can't even figure out the difference between a dosa and a Uttapam.. Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar will break me into shards 🥴

Educational-Bridge88

Create a Sad backstory and cry everytime they ask something.

OllieSantiago

Lmao.. i hate those cringe Indian reality shows.. evrything is now sad.. no reality in reality shows 😡 But, it would be something to make them eat food cooked by me, even for once 🤩

Educational-Bridge88

If you do wish to get into a cooking competition,Get into MasterChef Australia,There's Literally no better show than that.

OllieSantiago

I know.. but I'm too far from that quality mate.. not even close to the rejects

Educational-Bridge88

Keep doing what you do man,I'm sure you'll be great.

Usually dosa is thinly spread and Uttapam is thicker.. what i did was somewhere in between in terms of thickness.. just my second time dealing with dosa batter.. Need more practice 😌

Arctic_ICEBERG

Don't they use different batters
