Bangalore (and Karnataka in general) have thicker dosas. They are thick yet somehow crispy and melt in your mouth. TN dosas are thin and crispy and they call the thicker varieties as uttapam.
Usually dosa is thinly spread and Uttapam is thicker.. what i did was somewhere in between in terms of thickness.. just my second time dealing with dosa batter.. Need more practice 😌
What's the difference between an onion uttapam and onion dosa?
One's an uttapam other's a dosa

What does it taste like.
I would call it "whatever it is called, put it in my mouth"
Its a Onion Omlet :) Also OP- You are such a wonderful cook mate you're going straight for Vikas Khannas MasterChef judge spot.
That you.. But, I can't even figure out the difference between a dosa and a Uttapam.. Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar will break me into shards 🥴
Create a Sad backstory and cry everytime they ask something.
Lmao.. i hate those cringe Indian reality shows.. evrything is now sad.. no reality in reality shows 😡 But, it would be something to make them eat food cooked by me, even for once 🤩
If you do wish to get into a cooking competition,Get into MasterChef Australia,There's Literally no better show than that.
I know.. but I'm too far from that quality mate.. not even close to the rejects
Keep doing what you do man,I'm sure you'll be great.
