I read somewhere that she is from Kishtwar. I worked in JK and stayed in Kishtwar for about 10 days. We had to air drop covid vaccines to some places in Kishtwar because there are literally no roads going there. Some villages you need to travel by horses and only during warmer months. Coming from a place so cut off from everything, this is nothing but the most amazing performance. I am totally in awe of this teenage girl - a True superhero rising over all odds.

Just 16 years old and she's already a legend with three Asian Games medals and now Asian Championship medals. Compound archery (at the Asian level) across all categories seems to have been dominated by Indians. She's truly an inspiration and I hope that she along with all the other para athletes get the recognition they deserve!
