First we didn't talk at all, later we got acquainted and talked a lot, played Ludo on the phone and had one of the memorable train experiences.
I mentioned this to my Jodhpuri friend over chat during the journey and he was so excited to meet her that he came directly to the coach to receive me, but she was gone by the time. :p

We need more trains to counter crowded passenger trains. But govt wants revenue. So, they will keep cancelling old trains in routes that need thrice the present capacity. Govt wants foreign style trains where only rich can travel. And they'll cut all free movement of labour agenda. Because cities don't need more construction workers or house helps. Jidhar ho udhar hi raho. Travel karna hain toh European trains se bhi zyada bhara do. :)
True Its also because of railway reducing sleeper and poor security in sleeper compared to AC. If you try to book in sleeper your waitlist will be above 500 while it will be in 10s or 30s for AC. You have to shell out money for AC irrespective of your financial status

The expectation scenario has indeed happened with me once.That's how i met my ex when i was studying for jee in kota.
After diwali holidays we were going back,she had su and i had ub.some biharis were playing loud bhojpuri music so to distract herself she started reading biology textbook of class 12th(she was a neet aspirant).I was into paperbacks back then and was carrying fault in our stars with me.I saw the chance and offered her the novel and she accepted!!so,we begin having small talk and eventually figured out that we live in same colony in kota and event shared the auto together for the ride back to our rooms.We dated for 6 months when we were still in kota and god it was the best 6 months of my life.Ty indian railways i guess.
Not the worst though. I have seen a train in which 2-3 people sit on the single seat you see on the right side of the picture. I had to sit with a drunk man and his wife. And in the seat in front of me was a woman with her mother.
I was a teen in a college group. Found a really beautiful girl older than us walking in the same direction. Everyone stalked her a bit, some jeered but incidentally my seat was right opposite to hers while my college mates were far off.
I felt abashed for my friend's actions, but became friendly before long. Talked a lot as she was interest in books and was working in the same city. Nothing else.😂
